This is a knife i use often at my workplace cutting different materials. It’s called an ofla knife- they’re pretty small and can retract and come back out again with a drag of a switch. This is me dragging that switch up and down, slowly for each individual tick and then all at once. I know in this recording the background isn’t completely silent, i’ll try to reupload a recording when it is at some point.

Recorded in the boqueria market in barcelona, this recording shows how a piece of meat is chopped with a knife. We can hear two different knifes working at the same time.

Just a sound effect i made for a project, where i had to create the sound of a blade being dragged out of a body or of something similar. It was created by dragging two kitchen knives together. Recorded with my røde nt1-a microphone. The recording is in 44100 hz stereo, 32-bit, waw format.

This is a compilation of sounds intended to sound like a group of silverware hitting the side of a wooden ship, like in pirates of the caribbean.
