I moved everything out of my bathroom for cleaning and noticed the acoustics sounded nice, so i decided to get a quick recording of my shower. The equipment i used was a laptop with a rode nt1-a and a sennheiser md 421-2.

I've recorded this by accident. I left ardour recording on my laptop via zoom h2 and forgot about it. Meanwhile my cellphone must have communicated with the gsm network, and the zoom h2 have captured the signal. Luckily no background noise is present. Enjoy this annoying sample :).

Amid the din of my neighbor's barking dog, passing traffic and singing birds, you can hear the quacking of a large flock of ducks in the quiet river outside my kitchen window (i don't know the species to this day). I used the built-in microphone of my mini lenovo laptop to record this.

This is a recording of a church bell ringing before the evening service. Bell is playing a slightly flat b3 (around 240hz) with nice harmonics (very loud at d4). Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.

Electrical hum created by my guitar lead resting on the table top while connected to a line 6 box going into my laptop. The line 6 software was also giving it lots of 'cavernous hall' reverb. Quite stereo too. It is a g as far as i can tell but slightly sharp so try shifting the pitch to get it in tune with other instruments.

This sound was made purely with audacity and my laptop microphone. I basically moaned into my microphone then used paulstretch with certain settings then slowed down the speed. It sounds like something adjusting or breaking far away. Feel free to use without credit.

This is a background hiss my cheap microphone records when i use my laptop. I recorded with audacity. This one has spikes of static noise every so often, sounding almost like faint voices. I used one of those blank plastic cds that you sometimes get when you buy cd holders. I broke it up into many pieces and dropped them multiple times adding on the ending to make it sound like the leftover pieces bounce. Sorry about the backround noises, recorded on a laptop with the fan running and a tv in the backround. Came out pretty good though. I was satisfied in the end though.
