I was up in the loft and found tow old 'light sabres' that had been there for years. To my surprise they still worked, so heere thy are, as recorded. There are a few clicks on here that are the sound of the buttons being pushed.

Recorded various light switches in an apartment using a zoom h6 with a xy mic and a foam screen and handheld. Recorded handheld with the light switch in front of the recorder. Recorded for a school project for a sfx library.
A wooden bedside lamp with a plastic switch was used to produce the sound. Various ways of putting on the lamp and then switching it off were performed to widen the sound's range. A zoom h6 recorder was used, with the xy capsule, in a room to record the sound.
