Believe it or not, this was made with a soda bottle cap. I made it for a zombie survival game, specifically for inserting a magazine into a gun, i thought it also sounded like a switch when sped up, so here it is.

I burped while recording, and part of it sounded just like a pig. You might expect this to effect my self esteem, but pigs are actually brutally effective fighters and can hold their breath for several months at a time. True story.

This little distorted bass one-shot was made using a combination of sine-compression and filtering techniques in conjunction with reverse reverb/ bit-crushing. I also added a pitch fall near the end. This "punch" was created by slapping a piece of steak against wood. It's not quite an action movie punch but it sure sounds like a hit. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

A bionic man-like effect. Created in qtractor with calf organ and c* scape stereo delay. Processed in audacity to speed up velocity, added a tremolo inverse sawtooth effect to increase ducking at a frequency, and added fade in and out.
