Small waterfall in alexandria park (bila tserkva, ukraine)field recorded with olympus vn-732pc recorder (on built-in mic)recording was done from few points (2,5 meters from waterfall on groundfloor level, 3 meters on 1 meter from ground, 4 meters on 1 meter from the ground). Mixed with some reverb and little echo in reaper.

Early morning field recording of the waterfall next to the old mill in pigeon forge, tennessee. The gristmill water wheel was also in use while the recorder was approximately thirty feet from the fall. Gear: zoom h6, xyh-6 x/y capsule (120 degree stereo image), rycote windjammer. This is recorded at droescher's mill in cranford nj. The local dam used to power a waterwheel. The wheel is no longer in operation but it's still a nice relaxing spot. A little waterfall is in the foreground, a big waterfall (the dam) is in the background, and the sounds of traffic are audible faintly. It can be played as a loop. ---zoom xyh-5 > zoom f1 field recorder.

Upper maxwell falls, evergreen, co, at the top of the falls. Recorded a little before dusk, 2017-07-19. Recorded binaurally using sound professionals ms-tfb-2 binaural microphone headset, 12vdc battery box, sound devices mixpre-6 at 24/192. Postprocessing: digital gain, downsampled to 16/48. Flac: encoded. The rock formations here play appealing tricks with the sound of the running and falling stream. Facing out over falls dropoff, vaguely. A lot of digital gain (+30db?) was applied in postprocessing. The analog preamp was originally set to +21db on the aux-in (ch5/6) input, but this may not have been the optimal gain staging. Fast moving stream down from one of the waterfalls at silver falls state park in oregon. Water is flowing over rocks. Recorded, sorry to say, on my canon t3i mounted on tripod about 3 feet from the water so there is very little stereo separation. Runs at about -10db. Enjoy, i plan to upload more from my trip. Free to use, but if used commercially it would be nice if you can add "marcus pun" to the credits, and i hope you do that with any sound you use from freesounds. ;o).

This is an edited field recording that i used in a track of mine. I recorded it at the zoom natural park, near torino, italy. It's actually 4 tracks of waterfalls and birds signing, with a little delay on the birds. It's made to loop around itself unnoticeably. If someone is interested, i'm willing to release the whole field recording. It's 7 tracks, but very little of it is devoid of external noise.
