I made a bass-line on a doublebass that i played around with. Like the fact that it's groovy and a bit dark. Added a drumbeat i made that i think suited the bass-line. This was recorded a few feet away from an indoor fireplace. The recording was made with a tascam dr-05. Note: you may hear squeaking sounds or other artifacts in the compressed online preview. The file you download will not have these issues.

Basic four on the floor drum loop made with caustic 3. 140 bpm, 4 bars, 44100hz 16 bit. Processed with compression on the kick and mix compression and eq on the master in ardour and ready to go. Very straight forward.

Another random experimental sound effect i made. All i did was really random noises like popping and kissing sounds, and blowing the mic. Then i edited it in adobe audition cs6 and tweaked it on audacity.

Another drum track i made for a friend to jam with using the the real drum sounds in fruityloops. Its a 6 bar loop comprising of a beat with hats and the with ride and back to the hats again. Originally it was programmed at 55 bpm but sounds better at 90 or so.

This is a short, dissonant loop made with a neapolitan mandolin. This has been recorded with an sm7b into a rme interface, and quantized to 148bpm in logic pro x. This is a dry file with no other processing. I used it on a couple of old-school hip-hop beats to trigger effects or completely butchering with distortion for some extra textures. I thought it might come in handy to rap producers out there! if you do something with it, i would love to check it out!. I was recording an acoustic version of a song called "closer" by my band dead rituals, and a friend let me borrow this old neapolitan mandolin. I made some random noises by picking behind the strings at the end of a take, and i decided to sample it!.

I asked for a fabric shredder because i couldn't find one, and i knew my dearest would knock himself out trying to. He didn't either but he did have one made, probably at considerable expense. It's a cute little portable unit, i think made of a modified paper(?) shredder, powered by a geared motor from a battery-operated power tool. It's probably a dangerous little work of art. Needed the exceptionally specific sound of putting an old book into an old hiking backpack. This is that sound. The recording starts with me the backpack off, before placing the book into the backpack and throwing the backpack back over my shoulder. Backpack description:an old-ish (likely 60's) hikers backpack with a metal "seat" that folds out. Made out of wool, leather, metal and the inside is plastic (a thick plastic bag that keeps everything dry). All straps are made of leather and metal that makes a very distinct jangly sound. This is a recording of an analogue bass synthesizer, made by focusrite saffire pro 26. It's a smooth sound with an instant attack and two final wobble created with an lfo. The sound has been equalized and compressed and some reverb mixed with an aux. 140 bpm. Good fun.

This is a recording made in the room of my apartment in the province of rieti in italy, while i'm testing a professional dji drone, the mavic air 2, purchased the day before yesterday at the trony shop. This recording was done with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus microphone.

The recording is made whilst bushwalking, so captures the footsteps etc. It was recorded with a 3dio binaural mic and a zoom f8 field recorder. The recording has been minimally edited and denoised with rx7 spectral de-noise.

This record of a csa (czech airlines) airbus a330-323x during departure from runway 06 was made at prague airport on sept 03, 2014. The mic i used for was a sennheiser mk-400. That`s why this record is just mono.

Like everything else i do, also made in helm. You may have to trim the end of the sound off to loop it, but it's loopable.
