My firepod has gone wrong at last?! while recording a vocal section, a presonus firepod, an audio interface for computer, seemed to have some trouble in its audio processing. Or, it came to have a new audio effect function?.

Just something i needed help with.

Microphone feedback of varying lengths. Made by jamming earphone bud into the recorder's microphone with varying pressure, then cleaning out low end rumbling. Recorder: sony pcm-d100.

Just speeded up the whining to make it more urgent. Squealing drone that makes an i once used as intro if you just add some fade at the end. This is part of a pack that features noises made by a small malfunctioning house fan that's passed its primed. I have released my sounds into the public domain.

This are some randomized horror percussion sounds i made.

Just makes your ears hurt, doesn't it? could be great for something like a machine having a complete meltdown, or a robot going haywire. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. All done in wavepad. I also tried to make it loop, but it's up to you whether i succeeded or not.

A distorted falling reese. Reminds me of some sort of malfunction. Made with image-line harmor and its built-in distortion and unison modules. (and other random fx. ).

I found a program called "bitmaps & waves" today, and thought i'd take it for a spin, basically, what it does is convert any bitmap image into a waveform that you can hear. A recording of an old malfunctioning arcade cabinet. Somehow the game had frozen in place, and was repeating the same loop over and over- it was from street fighter ii, and i believe it had frozen right as chun li was kicking someone in the face.

This sound was inspired by this youtube tutorial: https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=ke5vztfcykc on converting formula controller output into audio but instead of pitching the sound up in audio i pitched it up in real time using two instances of gross beat. It sounds like a broken synth to me.

This is a recording straight off my phone, so sorry for the terrible quality and the rustling. The speaker in the car was acting up and played some sort of choppy cut of what i believe to be rocket man, since that’s what started playing when the bluetooth got back into range. At the end of the recording you can hear my dad getting back into the car. Use all you’d like, but i do like to hear about where you did use it so i can look it up myself.

While editing the sound i posted prior to this, some sort of glitch in logic's system gave me this. I made sure to keep it for freesound. It's just a few seconds of a glitchy, vocal-esque sound. Already mixed it together somewhat. It might be good for dj's.

Something went wrong on a mechanical device on top of the building that faces my balcony. I don't know what it is exactly (some fan. . . ) but the noise it produces is pretty theatrical. I just could'nt resist recording it. I belive this could be very useful to some of you looking for mechanical sounds. . . Recorded with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode.

The upload spree continues! this time i've got another sci-fi sound. The title says it all, folks. It can also be used for not only a robot malfunction sound effect, but a machine glitching sound perhaps. I made ti with a corrupt audio file. I got a part of it, and simply pitch shifted it down, and faded it out at the end.

I took another sample from a malfunctioning arcade cabinet, this time giving off a repetitive droning hum. Listening to it without context, i imagine being in a control center containing heavy industrial computing machines.

This sound was created by mistake and i thought it sound perfectly like a bad transmission from radio or spacestation. I´ve cut the audiofile so it is loopable. Sports bras are supposed to fit snugly, but not quite this snugly. Some makers are too cheap to use a good zipper, and this one is nylon. I think. If you don't want a wardrobe malfunction, don't buy too small, and avoid those that don't have a backup hook underneath. This one doesn't, nor can the zipper be trusted. And yeah it can certainly malfunction, if you run. Suits me. Love to run.

It is a very strange sound:) made by my reloop rmx-30 dj mixer's and sb live soundcard's bug! there could be a malfunction and when i used the gain potmeter the sound from nowhere (the cable, the mixer, the soundcard, don't know. . ) became mad. It is travelling on freaky frequencies which makes your ear bad. It is worth to listen:) pure hardware sound.
