A coincident pair of mics placed next to a cage the mics were electro voice re510 through a shure fp24 into a tascam hdp2. The original recording was 24bit 96k, downcovertedto 16k at 48k. I cannot get the stinking birds to really sing, yet theydo it normally and drive me crazy. Some of them may die today.

Audio of an ar-15 with a carbon fiber receiver being cocked. I don't recall the make. May require some trimming and buffing. I think i recorded this with an akg perception 200 using cool edit -- and i did it to get my room-mate to leave (after we recorded the sounds of several of his guns and a sword. . . ).

Night sounds of night, mainly crickets, recorded at san francisco libre, nicaragua. You will also hear owls, birds, dogs barking, wind, low human voices, tv sounds, fire crackers, and a motorbike passing, among others. You may need to make some adjustments.

Originally made with an alesis ion synthesizer and then processed through absynth 5 with additional sound effects, mainly consisting of reverberation and granular synthesis. *i'm open to take requests for certain sounds or music you may need for any project*.

I recorded this with a yamaha pocketrak that i taped to the feeder and enhanced the vol. With sony sound forge. It was fun to watch their reaction to the recorder but they eventually figured out it was harmless. Hunger overcomes fear every time. :o) here and there you can hear our tv in the background as i forgot to mute it. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :o).

Wind during a snow storm at dove lake carpark, cradle mountain, tasmania, wind speed 30-50 kph. Recorded 29 may 2019, 4:58 pm, just on dark, on a marantz pmd661, using a rode nt4 inside a rode blimp, pointing away from the wind from the back of a station wagon.

This is not the greatest recording ever, but you may find some use for it. Single player dribbling a basketball in an open gym and then some bank shots and some swishes. The slight hum in the background is the gym lights powering up. There is an mp3 and a wav version of this file.

As usual. . A triple osc was used. I played with the different possibilities. . . Sine, triangle, saw, square waves were used here. It may cause damage on high volume (maybe?). Effects: phaser, reverb. After recording, the entire soundshape was inverted.

This is a field recording from my friend walker's yard in las cruces, nm that i made on a band tour in may 2006. There is a horse running by on the road at one point and some dogs in the background, but the morning doves stand out the most and sound really beautiful at points. Was never told what place this was, just that it was the "little town' and i suspect at this point we were on the oka river. Inside church, lots of candles and incense. May 1992.

This is the second part of a recording an overflowing brook in summer, out in a farmer's field after a rainstorm. This one is pretty clear but there may be some artifacts created by my phone being jostled, or other sound sources in the area, but it's long so those could be easily cut out. This is a recording of a very old typewriter. I had a digital audio recorder that records 96/32 wav files onto an sd card. I took the recording inside an antique shop of a classic typewriter for sale, used some noise reduction on it, and added some dither. Here you go. Use it for any project you may have.

Dusk in the midwest during the summer is usually dominated by insects, but, the wood thrush often sings around dusk, making quite a unique natural soundscape. This wood thrush was recorded on may 26, 2012 at 7:45p. M. Using a rode ntg-2 microphone going into my handy zoom h4n recorder.

Hail comes inthis was a strange storm. Tons of lightning, but only distant thunder. The rain was nearly falling vertically. Audio description: may 20, 2014. Hail comes in and pounds a deck outside for about a minute or so, then fades and raindrops themselves take prominence. The wind picks up, so you can hear wind chimes going at it and some deep rolling thunder far in the background. If you’ve experienced high winds before, it will probably sound scary to you at volume. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 with a dead cat and no low cut. I got the mics as close to an open window as i could without being ridiculous. Cropped and faded in and out in audacity. No other modifications, so you’ll have to normalize it and equalize to your liking. Might be useful as a “heavy rain” sound, since the hail kind of sounds like that anyway.

Spring. Wav and spring2. Wav were recorded on the same evening in may during a long rain. The two recordings are similar but still very different. I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Beautiful sounds.

This sound is of a loop of chains being manipulated, along with footsteps. It is meant to invoke a sense of imprisonment or creepiness, but you may use it as you please. It was taken using a zoom h4n field recorder. The chains were 1/4 inch thick, attached to picnic tables, the footsteps are of skate shoes on concrete. 2014.

Short vignette meant to invoke a mixed sense of adventurous curiosity with a sinister undercurrent for apprehensive tension. May be used for short film or video game soundtracks as long as the artist, komit, is credited for the bit of sound used.
