This is a seamless loop of a semi-rare instrument called the ukelin, out of tune and played incorrectly on purpose. It was given to me as a gift today and i had to sample this thing. This is the one minute narration of a sound walk i did on september 7, 2019 at the afternoon. I walked the streets of 8117 garden grove ave. , reseda, california, united states. During this sound walk, i heard multiple sounds around me. These sounds are as follows: a garden hose gushing out water, a dog barking quite aggressively, a car passing by, creating a doppler effect, the footsteps on leaves and branches, and the soft breeze of the wind.

I was creating a kick drum sound using a model d synthesizer to see if i could and i realized the upper register had some very interesting percussive blips. I recorded starting with c or c# below middle c and upward for usable sounds and thought they might be interesting and useful for someone else as well. Please do what you want, slice and dice, these are original sounds by me from the model d and i give them freely for whatever use.

This recording was made by me on monday, october 20th, at approximately 7:30pm. It was done in my house in montgomery county, pa, with a rode ixy mic (the 30 pin version), attached to an iphone 4s. The iphone, with the mic, was placed on the sink, approximately 6 to 8 inches away from the toilet. The sound was recorded using rode's iphone recording software, then uploaded via their file transfer site, downloaded, and then imported to adobe audition cs6 being run on a mac book pro, and normalized.

A recording made in mid june of 2017 near the ohio river from the bank of rosiclare illinois. The main sound is an angry killdeer that was constantly fussing at me for being too close to her nest. You'll also hear a johnboat plowing through the river, the wind through the leaves of a huge sycamore tree and various children, low in the distance, playing on a playground on this perfect 80 degree summer day. Equipment: marantz pmd661 recorder with the audiotechnica bp4025 stereo microphone, yes, a true stereo recording. Enjoy.

I took the groovy part from zagi2's sound fata morgana (mirage) 3. Wavhttps://www. Freesound. Org/people/zagi2/sounds/369208/it's 2 bars. Cut it up in 8 parts. Call them 1 to 8. I let excel randomize function give me 16 numbers between 1 and 8. Then i merge my parts in that order. Result an 8 bar loop. Done in audacity. Did not have to use number 1.

This recording was taken in the edinburgh cbd during the fringe festival in august 2022 in the early evening, around 7pm. I like it because it gives an idea of the unusual way that sounds travel in that city. I could never figure out the reason for it, but it was noticeable to me the whole time i was there. If anyone knows the reason please post it in the comments. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.
