Recorded mobile phone radio signal, which can be heard with a very simple antenna & amplifier. Creative commons zero. From this example, it may look like goa-trance-x is based on radio science. But i assure that it is only the coincidence (or scientists of gsm are secret goa-trance-x fans).

Two recordings of a man groaning. I tried minimizing room tone as much as possible. Recorded on a shure beta58 from about 18 inches away.

Made this using audacity and soundforge with my voice with a deep pitched vocal, added minimal delay, added a resonant filter, and added reverb to give that distant feel.
