The sound features a glass front door of a suburban home is opening and closing. The opening of the door needed more gain – which was added in pro tools.

I recorded this gate in ashton court, bristol. I recorded it for a surround sound eco-soundscape composition however i felt the need to share as it was probably one of the best sounds i captured. The long hollow poles the gate is attached to creates a spooky reverb that sounds like its coming from the ground itself. Please feel free to use this wherever you need.

Today i was cleaning the house on a leisurely sunday, and came across a piece of thicker paper by my printer. When i picked it up to put it in recycling, it was rather loud. There have been many times on jobs where i needed such a sound, and thought it would be a good asset to record and share. Hopefully it comes in handy for others needing this element. A sound composed from bunching wet paper towels smacked against the floor and a wet bottle of liquid being sloshed mixed together to create an impact sound. Creates a horrible sensation of flesh impacted by a powerful shockwave. A bottle with liquid being sloshed around gently can provide the needed element of a subdued liquid sound - taking away the need to filter it with low pass filters (but it can help boost other frequencies).
