One of a series of heavily processed sounds of me ripping various objects off a sticky surface. I ran the original recordings through s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, combining and mulching everything into new, dynamic sounds with lots of movement and texture.

A field recording of a semi-rural stream and cicadas. The cicadas life cycle means that in some years they are particularly abundant. The recording was taken with a tascam dr-70d (internal mics) and very little processing (only high pass filter to remove location rumble) 24 bit 44. 1 khz.

Bird singing recorded at around 3:40 am with yinger bm 800 ldc-microphone in front of my open window, i had to add some noise reduction because of my computer fan with reafir (there isn't really much of that noise left, atleast if compared to original). You can also maybe hear ocassional space bar-click sound maybe twice, but it's still pretty useable clip in my opinion, i recorded this just to test my new microphone, and because i couldn't sleep because of the loud birds singing, and in revenge i recorded that with my shiny new yinger bm800. A j train headed towards manhattan over the williamsburg bridge, passing overhead a busy williamsburg intersection during a light rainstorm in early april.

Natural reverb hollow sound created with water sloshing back and forth underneath the princess wharf. The sound textures of the water changes with the tides. Recorded by a xy stereo omnidirectional microphone and zoomh5 recorder. Recorded on june 07th, 2015 under the princess wharf in auckland´s harbour, auckland, new zealand. Recorded at 16:10pm.

This is my new rotary-valved cornet with german valves and a 1913 holton bell all plated in gold and white rhodium. The sample was recorded in a large church in north carolina. With the help of bill jones i designed this horn and dr. Jones built it. It starts loud at a forte but then plays some quieter phrases around a mezzo piano.

Opened tracks and added new stereo track using audacity, generated brownian noise with. 9 amplitude and applied equalization effect removing all frequencies below 30hz and above 80hz to -120db, applied bass and treble effect increasing output volume 5db, applied limiter effect using soft limit and limit to -5db with a 20ms hold to remove spikes.

This is a test recording of my brand new rode shotgun microphone. I connected it to my sony recorder and did this recording. It sounds amazing for being the price that it was. This microphone was originally designed to be used with cameras, but i am using it as a handheld microphone. Hope you enjoy.
