This is a nightingale in a very quiet environment, which is played 4 times slower. The gaps between the verses are removed, otherwise there would be always round about 20 seconds silence. The reverb is natural (no sound effects added), but sounds epic after slow downed with factor 4. The original 96khz/24bit-track was recorded with zoom f8 by using four rode nt1. Recording distance to the nightingale was 5-6 meter. ;-).

I heard the nightingale singing, went at home took my sennhiser me80 with the windshield basket and recorder zoom h4. I returned to the place i heard the nightingale and the bird was still singing. On the recording you can hear the ambient of chemical factory of honywell seelze, a street with cars sometimes, a second nightingale far away answering our nightingale near by. And some frogs. I came across this singing bird in a tree the middle of the night in a residential neighborhood. This is one funky bird! he's got so many different sounds hes making. The recording isn't as clean as reinsamba's legendary "nightingale", as there is a bit of traffic whine in the backround that comes in at times.
