I recorded this from a balcony (5th floor) in the middle of a summer day (end of july), using a mid/side set (mkh30 + c480 b-uls/ck62-df omni) into sound devices mixpre3. Not any processing has been added, except a plain m/s to x/y stereo conversion and low-cut filter (30hz). This is a generally quiet atmo, sometimes light wind comes in, some seagulls and other birds are there at times, some construction work happens etc. The traffic noise is present, but in the distant way. Feel free to use it in any of your productions. Not for resale.

Found a big bush covered in white flowers with loads of bees buzzing all over it. Some good buzz noises here but unfortunately quite a bit of mic handling noise and the sound of the leaves brushing against the mic as i pushed it in close to try and stir up the bees a bit. Luckily i didn't get stung!.

Recording of a pair of oven mitts being hit together. Might be useful in a game as an inventory sound. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

Realised to my dismay that this sound was not available. A card tapping and scraping on a ceramic plate. Designed to imitate the noise of cocaine being cut up. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 in a 4m square kitchen. Tea towel was placed under the plate to cut out an excessive noise from the plate itself. Recorded with a low frequency cut off at 80hz.

Think maybe a sabbath type of riff, low gain distortion but enough of an edge to call it thick/heavy. Probably better split into a smaller segment. Number 95 – flange harmonics g to d – harmonic noise which you could probably use smaller pieces of to signal an alarm/warning type of sound.

This is a field recording of the speaker box on the chicago subway train saying "doors closing". I've added some room tone from the train in the beginning in case you would like to capture its noise print and noise reduce the speaker box. Enjoy!.

A recording of me chewing the last bit of a lozenge. First an open mouthed crunch is heard, followed by another. This transitions to closed mouth chewing noises mixed with lip smacking noises. The clip ends with a slight sound of a car driving by in the background. Recorded using a h4n zoom recorder. Sound is in stereo, and is in. Wav format. Feel free to use crunch chew as you see fit.

The source of the sound originates in an apartment. I recorded the creaking noise of the front door with a zoom h4n. I didn't change effect as i wanted it to be used naturally as background noise and give special atmosphere, like in alfred hitchcock movies. I remarked this was a very clear, resourceful sound when going out from home: i heard it and suddenly thought that would be a good sound for the freesounders's community.

I started recording a vinyl lp into my computer before realising that i hadn’t set the anti-skate properly and the needle was stuck in the lead-in groove. I trimmed this bit of snap crackle n’ pop and kept it in the hope that it might be useful for me or anyone else. Have fun.

Ever wandered through a spanish street market? the sound will be familiar to — very possibly all too familiar! this recording was made so close to the offending mechanical toy, that it has even picked up the noises of the mechanism itself. There is a small amount of background noise. Seemingly unnecessary period of silence included is the exact cause before the next outburst of squeaking. I have recorded the noise made by blowing in a glass bottle and i have added a “wahwah effect”. Then, i have recorded a sound made with my thumb and the bottleneck. I have changed the speed ant cut it. Then, i have recorded the noise made with my hand hitting the bottleneck. I have used the effect “blend in closing” and changed the height. Playing tabletennis on a nice sunny day at a playground in leipzig. The table is pretty old and made out of metal and concrete. The net is out of metal. Sometimes the ball hits it with a "pong". Recorded with a zoom h2 in 360-mode. Edited the mics pointing to the table a liitle louder and used very little noise reduction to reduce the wind noises a bit. Kids roaming around and the balls are flying! *sigh* i love those days.
