Not a huge crowd, but you hear the murmur of parents, kids and of course the crack of the steel bat against the baseball. Especially good with headphones on, as i recorded this in stereo. Field-recording of the creek found in old ellicot city, md. The creek is located in a suburban town, and is surrounded by a man-made rock moat about a story below street level. Recorded using a sony pcm-m10 at 24bit, 96k. The sound has been gently processed!!- hpf (6db slope) to remove rumble- compressor (ni supercharger gtx) with a minimal 1db gain reduction in m/s mode and a bit of warmth added. - ozone 5 for a little m/s eq to alleviate some of the watery pops on the sides and a little stereo widening to compensate for the pcm-m10's built in omni mics.

This is a generally quiet atmo, sometimes light wind comes in, some seagulls and other birds are there at times, some construction work happens etc. The traffic noise is present, but in the distant way.
