An accidental bump of the mic at 0:08 (sorry) should be the only major blemish in an otherwise funny first field-recording.

Sounds like the uplift to the drop of an edm track, but can also be used as a firework sound effect, or for a bomb dropping. Created using a low-passed square wave, over-compressing it, distorting it, playing 2 notes a semitone apart and pitch shifting.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. I often just say random stuff when all is quiet.

A soft texture for synth pads in a3. Built by layering several sine-wave generators to create the note a and some of its overtones. It was then drowned in reverb. The sine-generators played just a short impulse, what you hear is the tail of the reverb, to give it more richness. Post-production: reverb.

The landscape stereo field is an analogue atonal synth played with the touch-plates. This is a sound from the stereo field being panned left and right with reverb, delay and freeze.

Acoustic drums playing a groove reminiscent of abba's dancing queen, but at a slower tempo, 94bpm. Recorded with a zoom h2n in xy configuration slightly behind the drum set throne. A while back, yoshitoshi was having a remix contest for sultan featuring zara taylor - "no why", and for my submission i wanted to try adding a live interpretation/cover of the guitar loop. So i asked my dad but he got way too carried away in all kinds of directions i didn't want to take. But this might be useful to someone.

The chocalho de platinela ('rattle/shaker with little plates') is a large and very loud metal shaker, with jingles similar to a tambourine, mounted in three long rows on an aluminium frame. They are used en masse in samba bands, usually playing a simple but very fast rhythm. A back (towards the body) shake.

This is a recording i made of a child's toy that had dead batteries in it. The sample playback rate was slowed by the drain of the amplifier. As sounds played back their pitch and sample rate changed depending on the amplitude of the sound. . . Pretty cool effect i figured. . . "man i gotta record that and use it!" so here it is!.

The recorder is situated amongst several spectators of all ages, several children are present and heard. The clip starts of with spectators clapping and drumming rythmically, then you hear the referee whistle, and loud cheering suddenly starts. Rb leipzig has scored 2:0 against magdeburg. Oh my god funny story! so i was playing a jumpscare game and i died, so oviously i was like waah! or whatever, and then i started laughing. Now, i don't know what my mic did at that exact point, but this was part of the laugh! i was like woah that's creepy!! so yeah!.

I have no idea what this was. I don't know if it's my voice or an external sound i didn't hear while recording. It was found randomly on my most recent recording of playing containment breach, and it was very quiet, so i increased the volume to try and figure out what it was, but it's still a mystery to me. A very low frequency tone/drone made with the studiofactory software synth. It's a cross-mod of the perlin tone generator with a formant generator. This is about as low and loud as my current speaker/amplifier system allows. Use with care i. E. Turn down your playback systems output before you play it. Final mastering was done with audacity.

This recording was made from the balcony of the kitchen of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti during the new year's eve where you can hear bangs, people talking from the windows, cars playing, etc. This recording was done with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

Primary school orchestra tuning up before their christmas concert. You can hear violins, drums, saxaphone etc and the music teacher (english accent) telling them what to do. The piano comes in about half way through and gently starts to play o come all ye faithful.

Layered snare that has been eq'd (equalised)it was made in ableton and processed with a couple of third party plugins. It's a combination of sounds that i've found on the internet and recorded. This snare obviously doesn't have to be played in trap music but it's been layered with a 808 even if you can't here it or not it has similar fundamentals. It has been compressed also.

I like the drum but i have too many drums. 1 drum appears to be a lone tabla drum longing for a partner and a drummer who knows how to play it the :"right way". . . Some interesting play with noise, filter, pulse width and the internal spring reverb of the synthesizer. Recorded through an ssl superanalogue preamplifier at line level, uad-2 apollo 8 adc. No eq, no compression. Mono file, 24 bit 48 khz.

A plastic bag, paper wrapper and other materials were recorded individually being rubbed. I then layered them in audacity to be played over each other. From the resulting layered sound i generated this 10 second loop. Sounds like a mellow rain upon the ground or a slow crackling fire. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Attribution appreciated but not required.
