They play those small guitars -imagine a ukelele in hands of a mexican- they call jaranas and also a 4 string guitar they call requinto. Recorded in oakland california. January 2012. I used a h2 zoom.

I make this sound with the sound of mouth that i accelerated (speed and tempo), inter-cut with a white noise accelerated. I had to clean the sound of the mouth and amplified it. Finally i broke the whole band at the end.

For this one i decided to use white noise, longer or shorter, modified with tremolo and a slower tempo and accelerated speed. Eevery sound was melted at the beginning and end, one noise has been reversed.

Drop noise made with the mouth and amended by accelerating the speed and introduction of a "pluck" between each drop of molten noise at the beginning and end.

Playing jaranas: elías meléndez, who i personally dubbed as "the muddy waters of son jarocho" -he passed away on 2017-; arturo barradas, leader of soneros del tesechoacan, a famous jarocho music band, and his son, young elías barradas. Playing the requinto guitar is adrián luna, who for many years was a member of the grammy awardees group los cojolites. Adrián luna's voice is on one song (el conejo) included in the soundtrack of the two oscars winner and internationally recognized movie frida (2002). Welcome to the asylum !this creepy sound is the recording sound of laughts that i cut to work with other sound to immerse us in a creepy atmosphere of mental asylum. I transformed the laughs in tears by reducing speed, and a delay to add an effect of inaccuracy. Typologie (cf. P. I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. Died xd.

I was awoken at 6am by this noise/music coming from the local park. There was some kind of fitness event going on that lasted til about midday, looping this over and over.

For the sound i would like to create like an "extraterrestrial signal", i took a "sifflet" and i play with it, add opening and closing effect, reverse the sens and finish the set with a battery sound to put a bit of "suspens". . .

I took a sentence of a funny debate between the south and the north of france : chocolatine vs pain au chocolat, i accelerated the speed. Then i had reverberation on a shout, to finaly finish on a car sound, to close the debate.

This sound is the perfect representation of what you would hear if you sit on a highway.

With this sound i create an emergy soundtrack, we can hear a bip of electrocardiogram, and then an alarm siren.
