Recording captures the entire lap, from the exhaust sound from them coming through the loop, aintree and the wellington straight with them coming past the microphone at maggots, becketts and chapel corners. The florida grand prix runs every spring in the waterfront streets of st. Petersburg florida. I was standing in a blocked off street (so i wouldn't get run over) about 500 feet from the passing grand prix cars. These were the trial runs on friday, march 28, 2014. It's a 3 day event that attracts tens of thousands of race enthusiasts each year. This is the first event of the annual national series and it's said to be the favorite street course with race drivers. Recorded with a mono long shotgun microphone, then converted to a stereo file in adobe audio.

What seems to be a malfunctioning alarm at a rail crossing. The clanging of the electronic bell has an irregular pattern and seems muted. Perhaps even more annoying to some than the typical crossing gate alarm.

This is a dirt track in alabama (monster mountain, i think). I didn't realize my recorder kicked on as i was carrying it around in my pocket. The result was some really good audio of a dirt bike race, along with a little bit of small crowd sounds.

The creaking of metal boxcars and rails as a freight train passes through a crossing at a modest rate of speed. The crossing alarm bells ping constantly throughout.

I created these clicks as the ones that come stock in daws can be quite nervewrecking. For this i used the steinberg retrologue, soundtoys devilloc and a lot of filtering and eqing.

But, shes alive!!! still quite grumpy lol the ignition was not set up properly, so the old gall was spitting flames!! if you listen carefully you can hear the popping and banging of the explosions in the tailpipe :)recorded with my phone.

I recorded several different guitar riffs played on an eastern, egyptian music scale and then multi-tracked the recordings. Polished the rendered audio a bit with reverbs as well.
