This is a a non directional mic recording of a shower which is running from start to finish of the clip. The shower is a rain type shower falling onto stone and grout, for a smoother sound than most jet type onto porcelain or fiberglass tub.

The sound of birds and distant thunder awoke me from a long nap, and so i sprung off the couch and grabbed my recording equipment, dashing outside just in time to record the arrival of a thunderstorm. Over the course of this clip, the storm gets closer and closer, until it starts to rain with increasing intensity. The clip is nicely unmolested by wind, and contains a nice background of birds. A tremendous thunderclap is featured in the middle, three minutes in.

I captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera. It was a horrible night, with strong winds and heavy rain. I went to my garden shed and positioned my camera at the small window inside my shed as there is a small hole in the right hand corner of the window, and through this small hole the wind blows through it making this whistle sound, almost like a flute. After an august rain, there was enough water rushing downhill toward a golf course that it may be a bit hard to tell it's water. It might be softened up by reducing volume and used as a background. Some birds are audible. Coudburst, yes.
