Five minutes of rain, artificially created. Same mix as my other "five minutes of rain" upload, but without the reverb in case you want to add your own. Process:. Using a blue yeti usb condenser mic on the cardioid pattern, i made a 30-minute recording of sounds from my sink (drips, splashes, different faucet pressures) and cut them up into 60 files, later edited down to 20. These were layered together and mixed with white, pink, and brownian noise. Slight noise removal applied. Recorded basic mic noise, and used a subtractive processor (reafir in reaper) to remove that sound from the final mix. .

This was recorded at queens park country park, billericay, essex using an olympus ls-14 recorder and sennheiser mke300 microphone. The recording was made on a tascam dr-44wl @ 24bit 48khz and then the distance freeway and other noise was attempted to be removed using rx spectral de-noise. The files have then been normalised. Samples from a freakenfurby, a circuit-bent furby toy by dave barnes. These are glitched speech synthesized vocalizations recorded at 32 bits by direct connection into sonar. They were downsampled to 16-bit, broken into individual cues, edited and processed and filtered to remove offset correction issues and other unpleasant artifacts.
