Just me stretching, rubbing and 'twanging' a rubber exercise band. Apologies for the knocking in the first 20 seconds, my upstairs neighbour started moving some furniture. I made this recording for a very specific purpose but i suppose it could be used in an animation or computer game but also for something bondage or kink related?. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Using an inflated toy balloon in a bath full of water to create some interesting sounds. The balloon hitting the top of the water almost sounds like a drum, and my fingers on the wet rubber could be useful in a cartoony squash and stretch capacity. Recorded on a tascam dr-05.

Me squeezing a crumpled bag of doritos, recorded with an sm57 going into an m-audio mobilepre usb audio interface. I recorded this because i needed a good rubber stretching sound, but couldn't find one that looped well. When i crumpled the bag up to throw it away, i realized it kind of sounds like what i wanted, and with some eqing and clever layering i could get a sound that's pretty close to what i wanted. I've uploaded the final result under my "processed sounds" pack, but here are the raw sounds for you to use, completely unprocessed. I've left some silence/noise at the beginning/end of these so that you can easily remove the noise if you so choose.

sigil reel 2: percussion. Created by nathan moody, formatted for use in the make noise soundhack morphagene. This is one of two morphagene reels made from one-of-a-kind handmade electro-acoustic instruments and found objects created by sound designer and musician nathan moody, an outgrowth of his 2018 album, "the right side of mystery. ". This reel is focused on percussive, inharmonic content from found objects and one-of-a-kind handmade instruments including metal table tops, perforated steel gongs, stretched springs, steel tubes, a drum made from packing tape, shakers made of tin cat food lids, and much more.
