My first sound recording for my new sound album. My stomach is feeling all grumbly! it continuously seems like it hungrily and sometimes angrily rumbles like a monster, because it is very empty, and i had no food for over 50 hours. And i had to wait a little while longer to eat something.

There are nearly 3000 files here with the tag "thunder". . This is one of them. This one had the strike maybe a quarter mile / half km away, spring storm on the south end of denver, co. , usa. Recorded with a zoom h4n, internal mics at 120'. Raw file, no processing.

An old hard drive starting up. The idle sound is from the hard drive itself and not the computer's fan noise. Some minor editing has been done to remove a slight bass rumble from the computer's fan. Recorded on sony pcm-a10.

Sounds of trains passing above an art atelier in brussels, belgium; the room is right below the railway, so you can hear trains making different kinds of rumbles and noises from the other side of the ceiling. Nighttime construction sounds, recorded in oregon. No voices, just the sounds of trucks & equipment on a building site at 1am. You can hear the large running diesel engine trucks, forklifts and backhoes working.

A big carton board was held by two people, and then shaken to produce the deep rumbling sound. Various ways of shaking and holding it, resulted in a very close thunder sound. A zoom h6 recorder, with the xy capsule was used to record it, inside of a classroom.

This is a recording of heavy downpour on the streets of a rural village in germany. The rain was also dropping down on a small metal roof not far away. Furthermore, there was some rumbling thunder going on in the distance from time to time, as well.

There was a foley (of the then cranky closet of mine i was fiddling with) lying around in my hard drive i recorded some time ago. I pitched it down several times, stacked up in multiple layers & went on to process the layers individually.

A cool and very much slowed down guitar note, recorded not long before my guitar broke (it was old and it cracked). I accidentally made it and i thought it sounded cool i guessit can be used for a jarring moment or a suspenseful sound or something like that. Im sad rn (´。＿。｀).

After a rain storm, if it's a hot day the mist will rise, particularly in my river valley. There are railroad tracks on the far side of the valley from where i live, about five miles distant. In damp air the sound really carries. This file is unmodified.

I thought the local engine served just one customer, a major metal scrap yard, but the half-dozen box cars on this engine don't fit that model. Water flowing from an above-ground stream into a sinkhole leading to an underground cave. Recording captures the gurgling of water running over rocks along with the deeper, bassy rumble of the underground chamber.

I recorded this from a balcony (5th floor) in the middle of a summer day (end of july), using a mid/side set (mkh30 + c480 b-uls/ck62-df omni) into sound devices mixpre3. Not any processing has been added, except a plain m/s to x/y stereo conversion and low-cut filter (30hz). This is a generally quiet atmo, sometimes light wind comes in, some seagulls and other birds are there at times, some construction work happens etc. The traffic noise is present, but in the distant way. Feel free to use it in any of your productions. Not for resale.

This is the interval crowd from the play blithe spirit that ran at the basin theatre in 2019. They've all had a good laugh and their about to go back into the theatre and have some more. Although this is an australian crowd i don't think you can hear any distinct voices or words. It's a happy murmuring.

This was designed for a short film whereas the subject is checked-out, mentally, and builds up before the 'snap' of a mental break. The room had a grandfather clock and basic evening white noise with the sound of internal blood flow quickly amped.

Here are the audience bits from a jazz concert i recorded using an olympus field recorder. The auditorium was intimate and acoustically excellent. In the first section if applause you will here a mild rumble. There was a standing ovation, and that's what that rumble is. I also included some quiet bits of the band on stage getting ready for a song, and some subtle crowd walla as well. There is plenty to play with if you need to loop. You may here some bits of the mc or sax player in the background near the end, but nothing you can't work around if you need to. This is a bass sound, not tuned but it is a perfect loop withouth clicks. It has no panning effect - i will do that on another sample. It is not tuned - use a program that tunes the samples to tonal. You must use it only in one octave from c5 to c6. In other octaves sounds not like a normal bass.
