Group kmm-this is a recording of a passing car. There is a lot of wind noise that creates a low rumble. Recorded with a zoom h4 handheld recorder, high gain.
Police sirens in toronto, canada, recorded from top of building, city rumble and occasional traffic, recorded at 48-16 with portable dat using schoeps ms ball, edited and decoded in stereo in pt.
Set up about 15 feet from a railroad crossing and recorded a passing freight train. Nice whistle and approach, quieter later except for the rumble and scraping.

This recording was made at a canal when it was reasonably dry. The canal has a road running parallel to it and above it. The side of that road has a largish (30cm?) pipe that drains water into the canal. I made this recording by holding my zoom h5 portable recorder in this pipe, and recording with the inbuilt stereo pair of microphones. You can hear the traffic passing above with the zoom of the occasional fast truck, but it's muted and it's echoing around the pipe. There's a hollow rumble running through the whole track. I made the recording in august (spring) of 2021 in brunswick west, australia.
Reverbed and reverbed until there was just some kinda sounding rumbles up in the infinite space. Edit:corrected title, kinda, according to gauravnema kind and much appreciated attention.
This is the engine rumble sound i recorded in stereo with 2 m-audio pencil condenser mics through pro tools. It is the sound of a 1971 or 72 plymouth duster that i used for scenes in a music video i recently filmed.
Laying in the darkness over the ice field under a cardboard box with the headphones and microphone. Enough far away from the shore to make me nervous when the rumble and cracks hit very near.
Subway train rumbles overhead with birds and city bg. As a courtesy if you use my sounds please subscribe to my youtube channel: https://www. Youtube. Com/user/mycompasstv thanks!.
