I produced this sound using massive exported through fl studio 20. Clean 808 bass sound sustained with no distortion, no bs, just that thing that makes your speakers jump. 24 bit 44. 1, fretless fender squire jazz bass with humbucking pickups, groove in a major/mixo at 100bpm. This was sloppily played, more for the sound of the bass than my playing. Plucking the rim of an empty wine glass with my finger. Recorded a bunch of samples then isolated the ones i liked into this file. Left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. While all the samples were initially recorded at 16-bit 44100hz, some of the later ones compiled into this wav were accidentally saved at 8-bit and have gathered some noise as a result. All samples recorded using a blue yeti microphone. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. Attribution appreciated but not required.

Line samples from a casio ap-45 on the default grand piano patch. Samples every c and g from c2 through to g8 with the sustain pedal down. Velocity is pretty aggressive and it doesn't sound quite in tune to my ear. Feels like it's a little bit out. You may want to tune these yourself, if you plan to use them for anything significant. No post processing done, so it might be worthwhile to normalize the samples out, if you're planning on putting them into a sampler for playback.

I took a few one-shot samples from a bunch of free packs i downloaded off the net (legally), i gave the kick some subtle crunchy distortion in the high end whilst trying to retain it's core sound and it's punch, i altered the transients and the pitch of the samples to make them pop more and sound more to the point and i placed a coloring compressor on the master to give it a bit more overal volume raise without causing it to clip in a bad way.
