Nicely looped bells, struck and spun together like potlids. It's a shorter loop so probably best along with other things.

Ian dury used something like this in "what a waste". . . It's the gurgling noise made when the last of the water runs down a bathroom sink plughole. Conveys almost as much meaning as a cistern flushing, but in a shorter time (smaller file size). As ever (with my stuff) no "noises off" and so ready for mixing!.

I have made every attempt to screen out other background noise (including painstakingly removing the song of most other birds) recorded in la drova (spain) and so this bird will have a spanish accent!.

I'm creating a progressive loop that starts out with plenty of space between the sounds, but get progressively shorter to the point of overlapping. This is the base sound. Hellohere is my first entry and a lot is waiting to come later. This sample is made with reaktor4. The ensemble i used is called ttool. Only a straight drumloop with a decent 303ish line in it. I placed region for looping and a marker for shorter loop,too. Its a simple 4x4ish beat,so u can change (sample) easy-er the way you need it. Normalised at 0,1db. Hope u like it. Recorded on a marantz pmd 661 with a rode nt4, 250 mm above centre rear of projector, angled down at 45º. I needed this sound as part of an audio-visual that mimics a slide show. I chose to record a 10-second change interval (instead of a shorter interval) because that allows me to razor the waveform between changes, and then extend (or reduce) the time between changes. Too short a time interval between slide changes means you'd have to add motor/fan sound between every change.

A shorter, more polished version of my previous sound "alien world" (https://freesound. Org/people/patrick_corra/sounds/540045/). This ambience is a bit more earth-like compared to its predecessor, though any sound used here is either created from scratch or recorded: i used my own voice for the "bird" sounds and a crickets chirping recording for some background noise. Aside from myself and the crickets, no other animal was recorded to create this sound, so i think it's fair to define it as "alien". Inspired by the sounds heard in black mesa's version of xen, i decided to try creating a similar soundscape.
