An alarm i made in sylenth by distorting a sine wave mixed with a triangle wave. I then notched stuff out in eq, distorted it further and added reverb.

Futuristic sound effect, could be a laser or an alarm maybe. Made in fl studio using an analog synth vst plugin and applying additional effects.

The dutch city of leiden has a test of its civil emergency alarm, at midday on the first monday of every month. Here is a distant recording of the alarm as it is heard in a leiden soundscape.

5 1/2 minute recording using zoom h6 recorder of a storm front that passed through cincinnati on 4/9/2020 (which included 4 smaller f0 tornadoes). Made up of 3 segments put together. Very annoying high pitched alarm. This is a one of the results of my attempt to complete a school assignment. We were supposed to create an alarm clock or a ring tone with audiogen synthesizer. I went with as much annoying sound as i managed to produce.

Thunderstorm, late night with rain falling on a quiet urban neighborhood side street of a large u. S. City. 4:30. The rain decreases over the recording. Good bits of distant thunder. Distant sirens in the last half of the recording. Some distant traffic noise, and a couple of cars passing close. I didn't notice until afterwards that i had the recorder set in mp3 format. Recorded on the san francisco side of alcatraz island, 08/25/2015. Recorder was placed on the railing on the back side of the yard above the staircase. A clear day, with plenty of water birds and gulls. Some tourists speaking various languages throughout. . . Some asking about the 'microphone'. This recording also catches the sf noon siren and a sea plane flying toward the end. My windjammer wasn't quite enough for the wind, so there's some rumble, but it can be cleaned up.
