Take 1. A knife rubbed against a cheese slicer in order to create the effect of a sword being drawn from a sheath. This was recorded for the purpose of a college project. Sony ecm-ds70p mic to a sony minidisc mz-n710 acting as a preamp into my edirol ua-25 audio interface. Photos:http://www. Flickr. Com/photos/str33ty/373690370/http://www. Flickr. Drumloops with heavy effects on it, somewhat idmish. 130 bpm, but also sounds good played in other speeds. Slicing in recycle or some other slicer can also give interesting results.
Super useful electronic chords. The omnichord is a true classic. The only catch is you have to chop them yourself. I just load them into a beat slicer and go to town :). Also sounds amazing with distortion!.
Sick beats from the block -sliced and processed breaks beats and sick rythms for idm glitch and downtempo tracks breakbeat and electronica. Made with battery and a slicer and a load of vst's. Tempos from 90 - 185 bpm totally loopable! break those rythms down girls! (and boys!) oh i love the acid jazz and the drunks. They rule!.
