I captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera. It was a horrible night, with strong winds and heavy rain. I went to my garden shed and positioned my camera at the small window inside my shed as there is a small hole in the right hand corner of the window, and through this small hole the wind blows through it making this whistle sound, almost like a flute. 18 people applauding. Recorded on a marantz pmd 661, 6 september 2019, with a rode nt4. Recording level okay, but the waveform is sometimes clipped due to the loud clapping overloading the pmd661’s input amp. The input attenuation for the pmd661 should have been set to -6db (or -12db).

I was in my room with my blue yeti microphone and i noticed that i can make a sort of whistle/shrill with my teeth. Edited with audacity. I think this could work with a few other small animals but a mouse comes to mind when i hear this. If you are gonna use this please comment or link me to what you are gonna use it for.

Recorded from a balcony with 3dio professional binaural microphone in to an olympus ls-14 recorder. The microphone picked up a small cessna airplane that you can hear in the middle of the recording. The microphone did also pick up the whistle of a person. Both at the start (aprox 20 min in) and at the finish of the recording. I´m am very pleased with this recording.

Sunday Church Ambiance sound effect field recording. This is a great collage of church bells ringing, and small birds chirping ever so lightly. Great sound, and it public domain as well.

This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. Sorry if there’s some talking in the background, i was siting next to my aunt’s little foster child at the time and he was enjoying himself quite a bit. You can hear the train rumble against the tracks and slowly slow down, as well as some chatter of the riders and passerby. Used this myself in my song bossa nova- https://soundcloud. Recorded with a zoom h4n in 44100 hz stereo. This is recorded in a small high school gym with a small crowd. Lots of sneaker squeaks, whistles, crowd reaction and at the end, a buzzer.

A low but fairly clean recording from a small park of starlings scavenging in the trees and grass. There is a low-level hum from nearby water and urbanity, and a train whistles in the distance then its rumble can be heard.
