A recording of my pc from about 30cm away. Edited so it loops nicely. Recorded using a zoom h1 with the built in stereo microphones.

Recorded with rode videomicntg. Raw sound so you can edit as you please. Sound made with me scratching to curtains together. Gives a somewhat dry scratching sound.

An insect i'm pretty sure was a bee was curious about a newspaper so i dropped my zoom h1n nearby and it took an interest. A fairly loud bird was chirping nearby.

The sound of coins falling onto a wooden table. All falling at different times so it creates lots of separate sounds rather than just one loud sound.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. I needed the sound of a stick hitting something, so i mixed together a whip sound, a belt strike sound and a the sound of someone hitting a piece of wood.

Frogs in a castle's moat. So they're probably very old. Akg se300b mike with ck93 top. Layered in fcp to create stereo.

A drum pattern in 5/4 time. Someone on freesound's forums requested some strange timings for drum patterns, so i programmed these for them. This is my second pack. :-).

This is a high powered rifle shot in the woods from long range. I setup the mic near the point of impact so you also have the dirt dispersing.

Jackhammer in a series of pulses from a reasonable distance, so the recording is clear and with decent but not overpowering volume. Summer songbirds in the background fill between the pulses and after the jackhammering stops.

It is an old otis brand elevator, in a 10-story building. You can see that the elevator motor is so old that it was manufactured with relay contacts and not with an electronic board.

Assembled in reason 12. 44hz 16bit 120bpm. This pattern is made to be sliced up. I tried to stay away from eqing the sound so there would be flexibility with post processing.

Network traffic is captured by pdpcap, ip sequencer generates a different bang for each protocol (ip, tcp, udp and icmp), and the sound system has the assigned sound for them (sampler, drums, noises, etc. . . ). Stereo recording of a group of street musicians playing circus style music in paradise circus, birmingham uk. Recorded on a zoom h2 digital recorder in wav format walking past the musicians. Trumpet does some phase effects as the reflected sound from a large building mixes with the direct sound. Recorder was in bag so sounds of movement, and plenty of street noise. Short extract so as not to deprive performers of any rights - this is a field recording of a street soundscape.

In short: for a horror game when a monster spots the player. I made it so that it would "turn on" when the monster spots the player in a horror game i was working on, i got bored and deleted the game. I guess you can use it for a similar purpose. It's very trash but it's the first audio i've ever made, plus i had a "crazy weird insanity" audio in mind, so it kinda fits what i wanted.
