A recording of a large (~30) group of people talking in a large, open room (brick walls and linoleum floors). During the recording, my sound recordist turned slowly, so the voices stay constant but move positions.

I'm making a spooky scary video game and needed a "behind you" whisper to play over the shoulder of the player. Didn't find anything so i made it myself by recording several whispers of "behind you" and then applying effects in audacity. Hope this helps someone. Go ahead and use this for whatever. This sample was created by taping a razor blade to a contact microphone and allowing the blade to scrape against the edge of a record spinning on a turntable. The reverb was added in real time, so there's not a dry signal recording. Very reminiscent of tg's "hamburger lady" in some ways. Sounds like a human voice almost.

Coffee shop ambience recording. Loopable. Crowd can be heard talking but the individual words are not audible. Blender and coffee machine can be heard. Recorded indoors at a street side coffee shop so slight traffic can be heard. Recorded with a zoom h6 recorder. Loud atmospheric and noisy ambience.

I'm not a sound pro. These sea sounds are recorded with a simple smartphone and exported as wav files. If you do not want the wind noise on the microphone, it is stereo so you can remove the "windy" track if you do not want it. All free to use, no credit required. It's pretty decent beat, synth beat too, used just some generic sources to make this, you can loop it too, so that's nice. (i had to add more detail to this description because of the mods, i hope this is enough description to get this sound uploaded).

Okay, about this small bibliothek there is a story to tell. Maybe a year ago my mother phoned me and asked if i could give her a hand because the door to her kitchen was squeaking. After work i went to her, went down to the cellar, took the can with the lubricating grease, went upstairs and made my mother happy. Then i putted the grease back and went upstairs. Whe sat down, drank a cup of coffee. Then i had to go to the toilet andnoticed that the toilet door was squeaking too. So i went down to the cellar again and took once again the grease. Now i thought, before i make the stairs again, i'll show if any other thing in my mothers house is squeaking. It was terrible! i swear, never in my entire life i've been in a house where so many different things were squeaking so impassionated. First off all i went back to my car and took my cheap dictaphone i use for work. And before i putted grease on those squeaking things i recorded them. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. So this are really historic sounds! none of them exist anymore in the real world!. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. But. . . When i heard through them later i was disappointed of the bad sound quality, cutting out higher ond lower frenquencies of the rich spectrum of those "neeeeiiiks" and "uiihggs". During winter holidays i processed them first with the audacity noise reduction - then with other tools. The result gives an unreal impression of the original sounding, they have now some "synthetic" touch - but makes them probably usable for funny films or comic-likeeffects. All the sounds in my "big squeek pack" where recorded in one afternoon and all in my mothers house. "tension-sounds" for example are nothing else than a junker (tin can? - sorry, my english) moved from one side of a wooden shelf to another, meanwhile my dictoaphone was laying in the junker. I don't ask to credit me - but if you make use of one of these sounds and create something funny with them, please let me know. . . So i can show it my mother too. Thank you.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. I couldn't get a note off the wall.

The increasingly rare melody of the whipporwill. . . . Cricket frogs also. A wonderful summer soundscape, bringing back memories of days gone by. And, hopefully, a soundscape that will continue to add meaning to summer childhoods. So glad to hear this. Recorded in late june of 2017 using the sound devices 702 and the rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone.

This is me getting a decaffeinated coffee from the vending machine at work, with the sound of two 5p pieces going into the coin feeder. This is the full take so ends with me singing o myself like an absolute goon.

Thunderstorm aftermath. Sounds of a thunderstorm about 10 minutes after it left the area. So low rumbles and rain dripping. The sound was recorded using a yamaha audiogram6 connected to a radioshack brand vocal microphone. Sampling was done at 44,100hz and the data was recorded using audacity. I recorded everything as a wav file and then uploaded it the same.

Nearly three minutes of blackbird song. This file has been condensed (the time between song phrases is shorter than the natural interval). I have made every attempt to screen out other background noise (including painstakingly removing the song of most other birds) recorded in la drova (spain) and so this bird will have a spanish accent!.

Recorded using only an android phone and 'recording machine' app. The recording was made on the metal jetty at london greenwich a minute or so after the ferry had departed. The sound is of the metal plates of the walkway rubbing together as the jetty gently rises and falls on the swell. Eerie and atmospheric. Strangely quiet considering it was recorded in a major city.

While doing sit-ups in my bedroom - i've discovered that the friction of my back with the floor makes hilarious "fart-like" sounds. I grabbed my zoom h4n recorder - and recorded some. Independence day fireworks display, recorded july 2004 in tewksbury, ma. The noise floor on this one is not so good, but there are a fair number of very nice explosions, pops, and whistles. The sound of quad cycles being ridden in the distance is also audible, particularly loudly starting around the 15:00 mark.

I created this using digital synthesizers. I lost the presets to this so i can't say exactly how it was created, but eventually i'll create a new version and describe the process. It's basically multiple layers of very grainy (like sparklers or vinyl) noise processed through filters modulated by some kind of noise.

I needed the sound of some keys that were put on a table. So i did the recording myself with a simple headset-mic. It's a very simple recording, hope you can work with it. The putting down was done in 3 different manners from quick to slow and picking them up again.

An antique underwood no. 11 typewriter, ca. 1925. Sound was recorded on a zoom h4 in a sound booth. However, it didn't have a bell or a platen, so the key is hitting the platen of another typewriter from the 1970s. Audio cleaned up in audacity. Please use freely! i found a lack of high-quality single-key sounds.

I recorded a thunderstorm with my samsung galaxy m20 out of my bathroom for 10 minutes. There is a corrugated plastic roof, which gives the rain a nice, but also a tinny sound. That's why highlighted the bass sounds and reduced the high noises for a better experiance. I also looped it, so it is 30 minutes long with fade-in and fade-out. Enjoy!.

I found about rpm challenge the other night. . So i have finished a track. It's a generative sample created by software run under my command, on my friends hardware, than mastered by the guy, came back, sat on my hdd, and because of the challenge i have scrappily finished it.
