I love the sound on a summer night in our backyard. I woke up at 2:00 am, to minimize street noise, and recorded this. Recorded as i pulled up outside my house and a late summer rain shower was in full swing. The sort of rain that starts suddenly and then just comes to a dribbling end.

Sound made by bowing a detuned guitar tied to a clothes hanger. Recorded with two contact microphones. No effects were added, the apparent reverb tails are the waves resonating within both the guitar and the metallic clothes hanger.

This time i promised my self to make my cuts more musical, you guys know, good outside (or) inside recording can be esthetic in many ways. When you walk around and listen carefully, you can hear music everywhere. When i got home i began chopping, an then i realized i could turn this mini recording session into some cool loops as well. I think its a good way of practicing sound design(or anything musically), to just limit your self some times. Basically got the idea when i was studying musique concréte. (concrete music). Could upload the samples if some one is interested?. I used no effects at all, no panning (stereo recordings) or no limiters/compressors. Some of the recording where made by using binaural microphones. I recorded everything with my zoom h4.

I believe something was wobbling around the desk and i couldn't get rid of that noise with audacity, however it isn't all that unnatural for an object to be vibrating or wobbling when someone is typing on a heavy brailler like this. The context of this audio is as follows: the brazilian youtuber gabs was playing a game made in the rpg maker and in the game he had the option of "sleeping alone" or "sleeping with his mother" after he chose to sleep with his mother shortly after an audio of moan is reproduced wanting to imply an incest after what happened the youtuber is totally disgusted and surprised. And gives rise to this audio.

The microphone was at a far distance from the crowd, so this would be suitable for any scene where you need a crowd to be in the next room or some such. There might be minimal handling noise.

The microphone was positioned on the side of the crowd, close but not in the crowd. Recorded in a big space with huge ceilings--would be suitable for a theatre, auditorium, rally, sports game, etc. , but an experienced editor might be able to make this into an outdoor scene as well. There might be minimal handling noise.

This is a basic drum loop featuring a performance on the udu, a middle eastern hand drum. The stereo sample actually consists of the same rhythmic patttern performed on two individual drums of different pitches assigned to the left and right stereo channels. This loop would work well for a bollywood-style production or anything requiring a little bit of mid-eastern flair. Enjoy! feedback welcome.
