A recording made near monument creek. I needed to block wind noise and so there are strange fluctuations with the eq, although maybe this is a feature and not a bug for someone out there. I walked away from the rapids until i was about twenty feet away. At one point, a helicopter passed over, and you may hear a motorcycle ride by.

I was showing my 1 year old my recording studio. He was laughing and talking so i recorded him to play it back. His reaction was as wonderful as i could have hoped. This was recorded in my home studio, on a cad e100s microphone. Recorded in audacity, i copied the clip, lowered the pitch, stretched, added reverb, and reversed the audio. I also normalized to -3db.

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. Result a generative ambient patch and sound. I recorded for 1,5h. The synth gave me some strange slow crescendo. Don't really know why. This is the last 30 min. Space drone sci-fi sound.

A czech guy named "staney the robot man" who lives in prague build this little synth. It's completely handmade and consists of a bunch of analog circuitry that when powered creates strange oscillations in current. It's also built into a seseame street toy saxophone. This set sounds like a robot talking. If chopped up and sequenced you could do a lot with it.

This sound was very simple to make. I just took the sound of an opera singer singing a scale and added reverb to it. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a sound that i created with a patch i made in pure-data (my first patch btw). Completely random frequencies in completely random space imaging. Merge with au "fm" sound where the index modulation change randomly, the carrier tone and the modular tone also change randomly. I applied a random delay. . . . So random random!.
