Recording of a handheld game tronic device. I connected the device directly from the plate to the audio in of my computer. So the sound is kind of original. The batteries were little low, so the audio is mutated and sounds strange.

Done by sound forge fm synthesizer. Basically four added sine waves, each has some percentage of self-modulation(feedback). The sound effects chain applied over the initial sound is: reverb, chorus, upward compression(sound forge wave hammer), pitch shift(down) and finally vibrato, to simulate a varying speed tape machine.

One lonesome bird that lives in a tree on the neighbour's court. I recorded the tweets early in the morning from my balcony testing a røde videomc pro. There was some far away plane noise that i've filtered down quite heavily, so that now the bird sounds kind of 'isolated' and maybe somehow synthetic. Additionaly i passed an eq and a compressor (in audacity).

Original drum sample recorded straight from an original vintage yamaha psr-36 digital synthetizer from 1988. Best quality you can find online. Also, some samples aren't half bad. Use creatively and add some fx's. No eq or fx. Just some denoising.

The oud is an oriental instrument,which is being played at egypt,syria ,palestine,maroc,algeria,jordania. Greece etc. . . It is the predecessor of the european lute,but sounds quite different. The original samples are very short. I put them into my akai 2000,looped them and tried to give them a synthetic decay. It's a sound that i created with a patch i made in pure-data (my first patch btw). Completely random frequencies in completely random space imaging. Merge with au "fm" sound where the index modulation change randomly, the carrier tone and the modular tone also change randomly. I applied a random delay. . . . So random random!.

A baler machine being used at a recycling centre. The baler goes through a full cycle from start to finish and is generally used to compress cardboard into small cubes which can then be recycled. I cut a few short clips from some of my projects to submit to a project that i had seen on the. Microsound mailing list. It's pretty fun to do this, i will try to garnish more goodies and share them with the world soon!. This is a short, textural loop with a slight click that makes me think of markus popp's music. It was synthesized completely using ableton operator.
