This is a nightingale in a very quiet environment, which is played 4 times slower. The gaps between the verses are removed, otherwise there would be always round about 20 seconds silence. The reverb is natural (no sound effects added), but sounds epic after slow downed with factor 4. The original 96khz/24bit-track was recorded with zoom f8 by using four rode nt1. Recording distance to the nightingale was 5-6 meter. ;-).

This sound would be suited for background atmosphere in a nightmare movie sequence, or to blast out of your windows to the neighborhood on halloween. It was created in audacity by using a piece the audio track from the end of the movie "my cousin vinny". It is the line marisa tomei says as she and vinny are driving back to n. Y. (oh my god, what a f'ing nightmare). It was then noise-reduced, pitch and tempo adjusted, reversed, and paulstretched.

I recorded hot-water-heating pipes crackling and then looped the sample at progressively faster & harmonically relevant speeds. This is one of twenty-two such samples that i layered together to make a new sample, which became the foundation for this binaural beat meditation track: https://soundcloud. Breathing through a 1. 5 metre didgeridoo to obtain a dramatic sound. Pitch and re verb were used for more effect. Bit rate 288kbps. Ngwave pc software. Sennheiser shotgun microphone. I'm new to this and something happened with the upload. Track is running a fair bit slower than i thought it would but feel it's still unusual enough for an underscore. Any comments are welcome.

Sound created using the wooden rod inside of my coat closet, and recorded on a zoom h2 recorder. This effect was used to create a sort of dungeon ambiance in a musical track. A decent down some steps, some creepy creaking, a little chain movement action, and it all seemed to fit ok. Check it out here: first trackhttps://brookinthebirchwood. Bandcamp. Com/album/disarm-the-mighty. Edited on reaper.

Another very old production, i think this one's from around 2009 even!. Using the reverb of a chord i made on my guitar i created a drone-y, washed out sound. Added some subtle bitcrushed drums, cymbals and a vst synthesizer plays some notes to fill it out a bit, and a dark brooding bass-like instrument pulls up near the end of the track.

Mono. Used in my own production: https://black-sided-sun. Bandcamp. Com/track/feb-16-day-358. Hopefully it will be useful elsewhere too.
