This is homemade willow charcoal used in fireworks making being shoveled and dropped on itself in a metal basket. I liked the "twinkling" sound and thought it would be a good first audio sample to upload here. Recorded on my zoom h2n x/y position in northern california. Standard wav.

Modern Music from Psalm Singer's Amusement by William Billings (1781). Lyrics: we are met for a Concert of modern invention To tickle the Ear is our present intention Audience are seated expecting to be treated with a piece of the Best with a piece of the best & since we all agree to set the tune on E the Authors darling Key he prefers to the rest let the Bass take the Lead & firmly proceed till the parts are agreed to... let the Tenor succed & follow the Lead till the parts are agreed to... let the Counter inspire the rest of the choir inflamed with desire to... let the Treble in the rear no longer forbear but expressly declare for a... ...fuge away then change to brisker time & up the Ladder climb & down again the mount the second time & end the strain then change the Key to pen five tones & flow in Treble time the Notes exceeding low keep down awhile then rise by slow degrees the process surely will not fail to please Thru Common & Treble we jointly have run we'll give you their Essense compounded in one all though we are strongly attached to the rest six four is the movement that pleases us best that pleases us best six four is the movement that pleases us best & now we address you as Friends to the cause performers are modest & make their own laws although we are sanguin & clap at the Bang the part of the hearer's to clap their Applause to clap their applause the part of the hearer's to clap their Applause

This sound of two pieces of glass friction against each other is torture for many, at least pain or unbearable for sensitive ears. Played back with powerful treble speakers , you would enjoy all shouting 'eeeeeeeeeee. . . . Stop it!'.

X-act heavy metal drum kit==========================drum kit: tama rockstarsnare: mapex maplecymbals: zildjianall were recorded in studio with a sennheiser e835 microphone plugged into a roland juno-g synthesizer. Cymbals need some 15khz eq increase because of the dynamic microphone's treble roll-off. No copyrights, free for all uses. I recommend using native instruments battery to launch the samples. Each of the battery's cells can accept stacked multi-samples, and the kit can be played through an electronic drum kit through midi. Excellent results. Any comments, contact matias: matias. This sound was recorded with a cm25 mkii condenser microphone, connected to a focusrite scarlett interface. The daw in which it was recorded is ardour and a guitar effects vst was used to add some distortion and delay. It was created with a photoresistor and a led lamp. The microphone was placed pointing towards one of the edges of the monitor, so as not to emphasize the treble and to balance more with the mids. At times it can sound like a guitar with floyd rose doing dive bombs. Translated with www. Deepl. Com/translator (free version).
