Using a bass drum module to get not that bassdrummy sounds. . . Combining this with different types of feedback. I didn't know how to end the recording, as you will notice. I'm using an analog delay and spring reverb. Maybe the ending in it self is interesting? i find it hard to "tag" this sound :-)how useless is this sound on a scale from 1 to 5? 5 is totally useless. . .

This is one coqui singing alone. The file was remasterize to eliminate other insects and noise sounds. Was recorded in the west of puerto rico island in the caribbean on june 19, 2022. A curiosity not too many people notice is that the individuals and species sing at different hours of the night and are affected by temperature and humidity. Rain increments the volume and intensity of frequency of the different species, some days one to 3 species can sing. Others you can hear up to 6 species in conjunction with other types of none arboreus frogs.

Test subject is given two types of music to listen to, and asked to describe their difference. The color of the first kind of music is not provided, but the color of the second kind of music is orange. This is possibly a color code for the experiment, but may also be what a person with synesthesia sees when they hear it. The first kind of music is considered as merely "entertainment", hence its descriptionthe second (orange) kind of music, according to the subject, affects our spirit, to which the experimenter says "sure".

A few cycles of my dad's home oxygen machine with a ticking battery operated clock in the background recorded in the early morning in the living room with lifecam hd3000 webcam at the end of about 16 feet of usb cable dragged out of my bedroom. He's about 6 feet away, i was with my back to the room with my camera pointed at my chest so he wouldn't think i was filming. It would seem this is the first and only oxygen machine on freesound. A full cycle seems to last from between 7 to 10 seconds. From wikipediaoxygen concentrators typically use pressure swing adsorption technology and are used very widely for oxygen provision in healthcare applications, especially where liquid or pressurised oxygen is too dangerous or inconvenient, such as in homes or in portable clinics. Oxygen concentrators are also used to provide an economical source of oxygen in industrial processes, where they are also known as oxygen gas generators or oxygen generation plants. Oxygen concentrators utilize a molecular sieve to adsorb gasses and operate on the principle of rapid pressure swing adsorption of atmospheric nitrogen onto zeolite minerals and then venting the nitrogen. This type of adsorption system is therefore functionally a nitrogen scrubber leaving the other atmospheric gasses to pass through. This leaves oxygen as the primary gas remaining. Psa technology is a reliable and economical technique for small to mid-scale oxygen generation, with cryogenic separation more suitable at higher volumes and external delivery generally more suitable for small volumes. [1]at high pressure, the porous zeolite adsorbs large quantities of nitrogen, due to its large surface area and chemical character. After the oxygen and other free components are collected the pressure drops which allows nitrogen to desorb. An oxygen concentrator has an air compressor, two cylinders filled with zeolite pellets, a pressure equalizing reservoir, and some valves and tubes. In the first half-cycle the first cylinder receives air from the compressor, which lasts about 3 seconds. During that time the pressure in the first cylinder rises from atmospheric to about 1. 5 times normal atmospheric pressure (typically 20 psi/138 kpa gauge, or 1. 36 atmospheres absolute) and the zeolite becomes saturated with nitrogen. As the first cylinder reaches near pure oxygen (there are small amounts of argon, co2, water vapour, radon and other minor atmospheric components) in the first half-cycle, a valve opens and the oxygen enriched gas flows to the pressure equalizing reservoir, which connects to the patient's oxygen hose. At the end of the first half of the cycle, there is another valve position change so that the air from the compressor is directed to the 2nd cylinder. Pressure in the first cylinder drops as the enriched oxygen moves into the reservoir, allowing the nitrogen to be desorbed back into gas. Part way through the second half of the cycle there is another valve position change to vent the gas in the first cylinder back into the ambient atmosphere, keeping the concentration of oxygen in the pressure equalizing reservoir from falling below about 90%. The pressure in the hose delivering oxygen from the equalizing reservoir is kept steady by a pressure reducing valve. Older units cycled with a period of about 20 seconds, and supplied up to 5 litres per minute of 90+% oxygen. Since about 1999, units capable of supplying up to 10 lpm have been available.

Around 15 minutes of a fireworks show i went to. You can hear many different types of fireworks go off, with crackling, explosions, bangs, booms, etc. In this. There are people and kids talking and laughing in the background throughout many parts due to this being a public event, which may be good or bad depending on what you would like to use this for. The fireworks were not very far away, which means that they do sound close. I even got covered in some ash during the experience. You do not need to credit me for this sound, use it how you like.

Made this recording to share with the community. Please feel free to use it however you wish. No credit needed. Recorded what i was hearing outside my bedroom window. It's a combination of various sounds for about 33 minutes. I did normalize the track a little bit and added a low shelving eq filter. If you want the raw audio file to do your own clean up. . . Message me. There are mic bumps and movements that you'll need to take out or edit out. I hope it's may be useful for your project. The rustling sound coming from palm trees can be used for other types of trees blowing in the wind.

A soundscape of several thunderstorms mixed together to create a uniquely immersive, full field recording. This editing process allows for rain and thunder strikes to be recorded at different volumes and creates a more diverse atmosphere with different types of rain, wind, and ambiance melded into one found sound. Although each storm was recorded in a slightly different location, everything is from the greater detroit, mi, usa area. -recorded entirely with a tascam dr-03 set at 48 k / 24 bit. Then each different storm was edited together in magix music maker. -this album version fades out with a simple, repeating synth line.

Bought an old sony walkman from an antique mall. It was advertised as "radio works, but cassette player does not play. " this was true, and i was surprised at the noises it made when you tried to play tapes, though whether or not you have a tape or not it makes these types of noises when you switch it to the metal/chrome setting with dolby b on. You can add a 60 hertz hum if you touch any of the metal parts, and can somewhat mess the sound by messing with the spindles as they move. I may upload some more samples of this at one point, with cleaner recording of each of the sounds you can create.

Created by anthony baldino for use in the make noise morphagene. "somehow making electronic music lead me to creating trailer music and sound design so it seemed fitting to make reel with a wide array of sounds from both types of music. This reel includes repurposed and re-mangled sounds that inspired music and sound design that have found their way into such trailers as interstellar, jurassic world , alien covenant, suicide squad, star wars: rogue one and others as well as glitchy beats and ambiences from upcoming electronic releases. In this reel you'll find impacts, processed orchestra, synth ambiences, modular beats and other noises that will hopefully inspire morphagene users to explore new music of their own. Keycap clicks 1 cherry mx clear switchmechanical keyboard clicking. Different keyscherry mx clear mechanical switchesthe cherry mx clear switch is a medium stiff, tactile, non-clicky mechanical keyboard switch in the cherry mx family. The slider is not actually clear but colourless (in effect, translucent white). The word clear is cherry's own designation to distinguish it from the older cherry mx white which is a clicky switch. Older types of the "white" also have translucent white sliders and are therefore visually indistinguishable from clears. The cherry mx tactile grey switch is used for space bars in keyboards with cherry mx clear switches. It has a similarly-shaped stem but a stiffer spring. Mx clear is reported to have first appeared in 1989; however, it was included in a march 1988 numbering system datasheet for mx switches so it is assumed to have been in production in 1988 or earlier. Recorded in my dad's bedroom with lifecam hd3000 webcam. This is a much better recording than my previous oxygen concentrator file, as i hauled my desktop into the bedroom at the other end of the apartment where the machine now is, when i was home alone. The webcam is on the bed about 3 or 4 feet from the machineat the beginning of the file you hear me flip the big switch and the machine comes on with a long on beep and thumps. I edited it to start then. At 00:1. 8 what i suspect is the water pump comes on, though i may be wrong. That's when the gurgling starts though. The machine has a small reservoir for distilled water to moisten the airflow. A cup or two lasts several daysyou'll hear various hisses and thumps in a 15. 6 second cycle as it runs. At 03:03 i flip the big switch to shut the machine off, and it bubbles and gurgles away for the rest of the file, as water i assume slowly perculates back into the reservoir, the bubbling getting quieter and quieter until it doesn't even sound like bubbling anymore, until it finally ticks to a stop. At 03:16 you hear me step as i get my foot loose from the mic cord lol. At 04:13 the furnace shuts down as a car finishes going by outside in the bass register, faint traffic noises and the furnace being the only background noises you'll hear aside from my moving around a couple times, and a faint bluejay at the end. At about 07:00 you can barely hear the machine anymore, but i could hear a faint ticking with my own ears. At 07:04 the furnace comes back on. At 07:08 you'll hear a bluejay faintly calling outside and a car going by outside after, which finishes the file at 07:20. I edited out my walking to the computer to shut the recording down.
