So i've made a skit 10 or so years ago. It was for a story i had designed called "axe troopers" 3 kids with an axe trained to be assassins. Literally do not have anytime now to study animation have to raise my daughter. But this lovely piece has been sitting on my hard drive. . . . I was curious what it would look like if it was animated in any way. . . So here it is! please message me if you ever get a chance to animate this piece at all. . . I'd love to know what you did to it :).

A sound of an umbrella handle expanding and retracting, making clicking sounds. Great for foley and sound design. Recorded with a tascam tm-80 in a non sound proofed room, without an anti-pop filter. The umbrella was fairly close from the mic during recording. The post-processing was minor, just an eq to cut out some of the superfluous low frequencies. One of my favorite spots to hike in illinois has this quite long, and beautiful and rock-lined beautiful creek. Now, even though this creek is in heavy forest, which often leads to very low water levels during the summer, this creek is spring fed so it always has a beautiful ribbon of pure water running 12 months out of the year. I've spent many minutes and countless hours beside this living, breathing water-course pondering the beauty of nature, and reflecting back on my childhood. A childhood filled with much love and many creek adventures. This was recorded on march 8 2021, at a time in the midwest woods when the mayapples are popping up-- lime green umbrellas spotting the forest floor.
