This is the original 8-second drum loop that i ran through akaizer for my "sci-fi ambient drone" upload. It's creative commons cc0, so please treat it as public domain. You can use it in any commercial or non-commercial media for free, no restrictions. I took a quick 8-second drum loop from my teenage engineering po-33 (ko) and ran it through a free time-stretching/pitch-shifting program called akaizer. This program is based on old samplers like the akai s1000 that had extremely artifact-heavy time-stretching and pitch-shifting features. If you slow a sound down enough, the final product tends to sound harsh and electric. Akaizer turned my 8-second drum loop into 2 minutes and 38 seconds of harsh, bassy noise. As you can hear from my other uploads, the results are so different it's almost unrecognizable. Definitely worth trying yourself!.

I just uploaded crap i know. . . But i was just messing with audacity and it crashed, i retrieved the temp file and this came up. An edited version of freesound #162268 by eneaszthe intervals between the dog running are removed. It came out surprisingly well. No skipping or clipping or any of that whatsoever. As this is the very second sound effect i've ever uploaded, i could benefit from feedback. An atmosphere i created for someone that makes it possible for me to create these sounds from my heart. Typing (real words!) on a kinesis advantage keyboard with cherry mx brown mechanical switches. Recorded at my desk with rode procaster, triton fethead, focusrite scarlett 2i2 into audacity. Untreated room (hence dynamic mic) but noise remoived with audacity. I needed this for my own purposes so i thought i'd upload it. I hope someone finds it useful :).

I was looking for a sound in which a few high-pitched bells could be heard together with the spinning gears of the striking mechanism. I couldn't find a sound like that, so i made my own. The two bells are from a sample user 'nemodaedalus' uploaded (wuc_bell_high_and_low. Wav). I recorded the spinning gears myself. The sound comes from a 1920's junghans clock i saved out of a dumpster. It's pretty much broken, except for the striking mechanism.

This is a foghorn-like sound that i created using an accidentally recorded poot from a friend. I stretched the sound bite a few times while lowering the pitch, added a couple different reverb effects, and then finished it with some parametric eq, raising the bass, and using a low pass filter to cut out the high frequencies. If you would like the original poot sound, i have also uploaded it as fart sound 1.

Birds tweeting in the garden with sound of freeway (highway) behind. Traffic noises include hum, cars, and trucks. Occasional use of exhaust braking. Birds are in the garden chirping and tweeting. Useful for a urban garden or other similar scenario. Two microphone setup, both are shure sm57s. Placed on two stands, one channel is nearer to freeway, the other is nearer to garden. Recorded with a behringer umc202hd at 192khz and downsampled to 48khz for upload. No other post-processing.

This is a recording of traffic passing on a freeway. Used the voice recorder app on my samsung galaxy phone to record this. It is an android app available on google play. After recording this i downloaded it as a wav file, then uploaded it to soundtrap. Com. An online studio where you can record and create music using pre-recorded instrumental loops. Here i altered or distorted the sound of the traffic to make it a more ambient sounding loop. Giving it a drone sounding noise.

The single module has 3 outs. 2 of them are controlling vcaa and one is connected to an envelope follower that generates a trigger when the cv is high enough. The signals in to the vca are the same (1. 5v). A way to illustrate the work of the module. Maybe.

I'm using a wired karaoke microphone and recorded it on audacity. Clapping and people cheering are coming from my hands and my voice, respectively. Each clap is recorded manually (some are near the mic and some are far away) and as well as the cheering voice. I recorded it at my living room. Recorded and uploaded on december 2017. People clapping at first then audience praise at the last.

This recording was made by me on monday, october 20th, at approximately 7:30pm. It was done in my house in montgomery county, pa, with a rode ixy mic (the 30 pin version), attached to an iphone 4s. The iphone, with the mic, was placed on the sink, approximately 6 to 8 inches away from the toilet. The sound was recorded using rode's iphone recording software, then uploaded via their file transfer site, downloaded, and then imported to adobe audition cs6 being run on a mac book pro, and normalized.

I made this texture by using an audio from cpark12 https://freesound. Org/people/cpark12/for this texture i made the audio a slow motion and added layers of it so it would sound more profund. Recorded myself typing on our old desktop computer's now garbage keyboard likely over a decade ago with my old nokia e66 smartphone. I then edited this recording yesterday to find out how much i would be able to improve the already decent quality. The office chair is a usual one with wheels and black, but been fixed and soldered and painted a lot for over 2 years (don't khow how long this chair was being used by the previous owner. To get the sound i just sit on it, put my phone on a tripod using the apk easy voice recorder pro by digipom, and then started moving with my feet trying for 30 minutes to get interesting sounds out of it, sometimes falling to get one continuous sound, but i never did that so my experience and technique is lacking also i dind't edit in audacity i just recorded send to email and uploaded here. The thing is that i got as a gift from a family friend and me and my dad soldered that thing probably 6 times to fix the sounds,pieces falling off, me geting in the ground after the entire base broked!( i wished i could show the picture in the center down of it) so before i went ahead to fix it again, i decided after talking to friends if i should record and upload, so here it is!. I hope is useful somehow to someone, now i can feel more at ease in repairing this chair again.

50 claps made in blok modular from scratch. Supposed to sound very unrealistic/dry/drum machine-like as possible so you don't have to sample the real thing. Some of these use asymmetric waveshaping which adds dc offset (0 hz noise) so you may want to highpass the crustier ones. I would've uploaded a zip of the individual hits but because of the way freesound works you'll have to chop it up yourself.

Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

Just my dog barking at anything that moves out in the garden. There is several different ones i split and faded nicely for seamless integration with your projects. Recorded with zoom h4n, stereo 90 degree. I decided to put all in one instead of uploading 30 different files.
