I mixed, slowed down, and sped up different small chunks of an audio file of a glitch noise, making something that sounds like a receipt printer at costco/walmart/freshco/any other big store chain.

I recorded this analog clock i bought at walmart using a blue - baby bottle microphone, the clock was 3 inches away and the room static is plain.

The ambient noise of a parking lot at a walmart store, dominated by the throaty sound of a truck's engine. Carts rolling, cars starting up, etc. Recorded with the zoom h4n.

The sound of a water bottle being squeezed repeatedly (a great value walmart brand water bottle to be specific). Recorded with a zoom h1 in 24/96 pcm. The. Wav file has not been modified and is straight from the h1 recorder.

Recorded on june 29, 2012 near the exit at webster's department store. This features how the checkout area at websters sounded from june 2012 untill its closing on november 3, 2015. This is part of a pack of 4k sounds recorded over 17 years commemorating my friend's department store which she owned. It showcases how the sounds in the store have changed over the years as the technology of teh store changes. Each recording is done within a week after the cash registers are upgraded. As of the date of this posting, webster's is now closed, and will re-open as a walmart in january of 2016.
