Recording of my panasonic dmr-ez37vk vcr, using both the ms capsule on the zoom h6, as well as a mono feed of a shure beta-58. Minimal compression in post. Going through all of the options, play, stop, ff, rewing, etc.

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. When i first tested out my zoom h5 i began talking into the mic and then all of a sudden i needed a sneeze. I was about to stop the recording but then thought it would be good to record the sneeze to see how it handled my loudness. Well it coped very well and the recording came out perfect!i then played around with it in audacity and slowed it down -86% which makes me sound like a roaring lion. So i thought i'd upload this slowed down version too!.

An insectoid clicking noise being used for echo location. I used this for a monster our party faced in ballad of the seven dice. This was done by foley work i was doing. I modified my voice with numerous effects in audacity to change the pitches as well as increase the speed of it.

This is a one minute soundwalk of walking around the football and track field at loyola high school. To a majority of the time, you can hear venice to your right as well as construction on the field happening behind the bleachers.

That sound represent a cat who is playing with my camera, lucking that. So, we have some bass amplification,gear who goes fast and tempo who goes fast as well. Because of that we can get a noise of "shot" of my camera.

Decided to test my ability in creating sounds and samples. I recorded my own crap-tastic voice and tuned it via melodyne (highly recommend the program btw). Then threw on some simple reverb and created my own chorus effect as well and placed it on there. Hope you guys enjoy.

I thought i record some breaths, tried to variate it a bit. For example there is an inhale and exhale with the yogic ujjayi breath and some other ones. I used some of these in drone pieces, they blend it pretty well. Thats unprocessed raw: just recorded direct into ableton 9 with zoom h2n.

Here is a clip i recorded using a canon gl1 and a audiotechnica shotgun mic(unsure of model number, a cheap one i'm sure). The clip contains thesound of me clinking a fork around inside of a bowl (sounds likesomeone eating) and pouring water into a glass as well as a bowl. Thegain might need to be increased as the audio is low.

Noises from a factory recorded from outside. The factory shapes metal parts with a punching press. You hear the punches as well as machine noises and metal parts being moved. Recorded with a samsung siii phone, multiband compressed and equalized afterwards.
