Was cooking a ham steak one night and when poking it with a fork noticed it made some awesomely gross sounds, lol. So, like any astute audio lover, i grabbed my zoom and recorded it! did my best to not rattle the stove or anything on it. I'll put it as creative commons, since who really goes through and credits every single random sound file they downloaded on any given internet scourge? but i'm always interested to see how the sound are used - especially this one ;). The soothing sound of a light spring rainfall, recorded in a toronto, ontario, on april 3rd 2020.

Better set on monoaural on your daw if possible due to the off-center recording. Having been a bit ill on some rich iron content food i couldn't stomach (offal it was, it was the sheep fried liver who was the culprit - the very rich iron content upset my stomach pretty bad - was looking for something "new". ). Keep in mind that i am unable to do this as a request for obvious reasons including health, livelihood and risk of damage to equipment. I tried very hard to avoid shaking the zoom as not to make the wobbling sounds. If i am ill again, i'll use my ma-2 (microphone stick) and gravity microphone stand and get a real good recording of real vomiting but keep in mind this was recorded in my showerroom so some er may occur.

This meal of pasta with tomato sauce sounded fleshy, so i decided to record it. Sometimes you can hear the wooden spoon hit the pan. In the end, i even drop some of the past imitating a squish and a splash. Recorded using a phone and a lapel microphone.

A pedestrian crossing in the inner city of stockholm/sweden, on the intersection of the mäster samuelsgatan and the drottinggatan. It is a rainy afternoon and there is a fair amount of pedestrian and automobile traffic underway. The recorder is on street level, pedestrians can be heard speaking swedish, german, russian and a variety of other languages. Near the end of the recording, a can rolls across the pavement near the crossing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 120° dispersion.

Some sounds i recorded on a very minimalist setup of a tascam dr-05 and a dream.

I recorded these footsteps with a zoomh1n handy recorder. It was recorded on a peat bog nature reserve after a lot of rain.

An unintended recording of me and a passerby walking through very thick and wet mud on the walthamstow marshes. I was out testing new gear and couldn't remove the mics from my rucksack strap to avoid picking up the rustle of my clothing or my occasional heavy breathing. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. -cute and interesting tweaked synth "semi-vocal" sound making a sweet and moderately complex arpeggio-type melody at around 100 bpm. -could be used as intro or maybe the drop. -i think it would fit well in the electronica and dubstep genre, but use it as you please!.
