Yet another "low, bassy thing". Will sound better once downloaded as the preview function sometimes adds compression artifacts. This one is loopable and might produce a mildly stupefied mental state in some listeners. So if you go and load it into your ipod don't try operating a vehicle or playing with power tools.

Adaption of my "backwards swoosh" sound effect, fed through a delay vst with the feedback quickly increased to a very high level and then dropped down. Reminded me of a suitable effect for a warphole or something like that, hence the name. Yet another attempt at making an "astroboy" style effect.

We got wood brought to our house from our woodman, and we brought a few armloads inside because we are already building fires. In the middle of the night, the woodbin started to make a strange noise. I figured it is some sort of bark chewing insect, but i have not seen it yet.

24 bit 44100 khz sound recorded with zoom h6. The area is very close to the magical small village of krippen, germany. The river flows undisturbed - at some point though you can hear a car passing by. Its tires interact with the wet asphalt creating yet another interesting sound effect.

The desolate, yet peaceful sound of leaves rushing across asphalt and wind in mid-december of 2016. Far off, in echo-land, wind-chimes add a touch of melancholy. Skewer slam is a combination of my knife sharpening sounds and metallic impacts/wobblers (some not yet uploaded here!) to create a sesnsation of something big, intense and lethal coming towards whoever it either find offensive or is ambulatory. As a personal note; the distortion you hear is not because of clipping in the initial recording but because of the higher acoutistic resonance and limiters applied which will not sound like this when downloaded.

This is a short, but detailed audio recording from my police scanner. It is the "ending" of a dea surveillance being held in my local community. You will hear the dea agents (ground units) following the target suspect as he leaves home, then eventually at the end, you will hear the local pd meeting up with them to stop and capture the suspect. Because of the short-range distant of the dea's radio transmissions, some audio will be "scratchy", yet it is audible. Enjoy!.

This is the sound of a snare drum after i added reverb to it and slowed it down about -81 percent. By the way, this morning, i purchased a very interesting book entitled "harmonograph: a visual guide to the mathematics of music" by anthony ashton. I haven't read much of it yet, but it is explaining how eye-pleasing shapes can be created by utilizing vibrations and a harmonograph. I think you should check this book out. Made with audacity.

A theme i composed* on cubase with edirol orchestral samples. I use some of these themes on radio dramas and readings that i put out on my radio show. I haven't used this one yet but i'll put out some more that i have and haven't used it he coming months - no need to attribute the source, just use away. *compose is an excessively generous word for my trial and error use of the piano roll function.

Here is an electric train entering and leaving a quiet station in marthalen switzerland. A small number of people including footsteps on the platform leaving the train. Looking at the spectrogram waveform display of https://freesound. Org/people/ivolipa/sounds/344948/ i noticed a few patterns. Distinct bands of high volume at around ~600hz, ~1200hz, ~1800hz, the fade in volume toward higher frequencies, a ubiquitous noise, and the soft staccato rhythm. Using these facts, i tried to make yet another engine sound with fm-synthesis. Sound forge 7 — to my knowledge — lacking a spectrogram, i've no clue if this was a successful attempt, but it does have a vaguely engine-like sound.

Some fire for you;. What you hear here is me getting a match out the matchbox, and striking it, and then let burn the match, till it flickers off, i blow at the end, as if it was not out yet. This is the 1st sound i uploaded online in like four years. I'm shocked no one uploaded a sound like this prior 2020! it was made using layering of crackling sounds, deep drum for base, chain sound effect, and of course a nice swoosh. A field-recording taken at a local animal park (germany). It was an early morning in spring and there were hardly any people there yet. The area, where we sat down, was surrounded by trees. Numerous birds were chirping and crows were cawing. A few farm animals like sheep can be heard in the recording at times as well as a one of the caretakers starting a vehicle in the distance.

This was meant to be a part of a track i was working on, but ended up getting caught up in something else. So, i decided to give this away to those of you who may have use for it. The most important effect used to make this was absynth 5's atherizer. I recorded some rain outside my front door. This is a tuned (a440) sample which you can use to achieve a sort of soft-yet-textured synth string sound in a virtual instrument like ableton's sampler. I think adding a little fake vibrato to it with multiple conflicting volume lfos sounds pretty nice. You're free to use this sound without attribution. This very happy bird-song was recorded in late winter/very early spring of 2012. It was a cold, partly sunny morning after a cold night, yet this red male cardinal was singing proud and loud. Recorded in a small town, with some traffic sounds in the back. Also, if you listen close enough you will hear some starlings in the background with their waking up chorus. Recorded using the handy/zoom h4n recorder and a samson c0-2 microphone mounted inside my home-built parabolic reflector.

Ambient music is often very relaxing and beautiful. The sound i offer you here may not give me a singel star, but it doesn't matter, because i think it's one of the best i have ever done. I have tested the sound on some friends, and allof them said it ought to be used by anyone who is tired, upset, worried or have minor psycho problems. So here it is enjoy. I have yet another one under test, but will not give it to you until i'm 100% satisfied.

Atmosphere in the interior of the sagrada familia, or more formally, the basílica i temple expiatori de la sagrada família, in barcelona, spain. Antonio gaudi's as-yet unfinished masterwork, begun in 1882, and set to be completed around 2026. It's an awe-inspiring building, with soaring, tree-like pillars and flooded with color from the stained-glass windows. This is a recording, made 2022 june 14, of the hubbub of sound inside the nave with multi-lingual tourists milling about, taking selfies, and gazing upward in awe. (try playing it back pitched down by and octave or more too!). .

A stark recording of a bunch of northwest winds whipping through a small town. This was recorded in december 17th 2013 during the height of the frenzy of the holiday season. I think that it why i enjoy this recording so much -- the lonely yet comforting desolate wind in contrast to the frenetic sensory overload that the holidays can sometimes be. The wind chimes are a nice touch too. Recorded on my front porch using my zoom h4n recorder and it's internal stereo microphones with the record volume on 80.

A peculiar local brand of fruit juice sold in small plastic bags with a straw will sometimes vibrate violently when sipped, producing this deep groaning sound. I've yet to discover what exactly causes this to happen. When trying to record it i experimented with straw positioning, sipping strength, holding angle of the pack, and couldn't get it to consistently rumble. This may be a marketing conspiracy to get audio people to stock up on juice to master how to perform the packaging. Recorded with sony pcm-d100, edited and denoised in izotope rx 7.
