The sound is edited in a way that it sounds distorted and clipped like it was back in the days when someone screamed into the microphone. Yes, this is intentional. (consider it being vintage :d). Looking through a golf bag: in this sound you can hear the clubs hitting each other making a metal sound. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. I lowered the volume at certain parts to prevent it clipping. The clubs in the golf bag is a driver, a wedge, a putter and a 6 iron.

This is a tesla coil with a discharge that sounds muck like an old style 'stick' arc welder. For the technical it is a tesla coil that uses a static spark gap, while high-voltage-discharge-2 clip uses a rotary gap giving a different sound altogether. I took this recording from my room in a beautiful casa on the main square in santa clara. It was warm and not windy so i could keep the windows open during the storm, and eavesdrop on this little party, which seemed to warm up as the storm did. You can hear them having a conversation after they were done. The clip is cut short and edit. Some parts are silenced. Some background noises couldn't be removed all the way.
