This is extracted and processed audio from webcams. What you are hearing is background noise that i've amplified, and sometimes dialogue that is processed beyond recognition.

A surprisingly cool recording of me running my hand through a bucket of mixed beads. A unique white noise-y kinda sound. Used a zoom h4n to record.

Experiment weaving objects in to the banjo strings creating spooky vibration and hum effect. Very scifi/horror. Some low popping noises, dog bark at beginning, chatter in middle; recorded with cheap pc microphone.

A patch around the build of a complex wave form. Creating an interesting timbre is challenging and fun. I have not tried but i think this sound will loop well!.

Evolving drone pad, i created this with a sequenced bellpad,that i sampled from the kawai k4r, pitched at multiple octaves some reversed some with reverb or delay, mixed with a water stream & windchimes stretched out 10x.

Variable speed on main trigger. 4-step shift register made with sample and hold modules. Looping envelopes with varying speed. The sample and hold shift register does not preserve pitch frequency very well.

A series of nondescript samples recorded in a fashion inspired by error. They are made so that even if they are arranged in a rhymthmicaly correct order, they still sound horrible. The samples come from unearthed past tracks.

Using nonlinearcircuits sloth lfo (regular version) to control volume, pan an some other stuff. . . Always nice to see/hear chaos in action. Sloth delivers cv and let me play with a ruffly tuned chord that goes thoughan analog delay pedal.

This sound took me a while i used warehouse machinery at the beginning as the gun is turning to its target and when it finished with an alarm and light sound indicating its powering. The charge & fire sound is all synthesis layered several sounds on top with each other also using eq, compressor ect.

I recorded one hour of machine composition. I did not listen to it. I did not open the file in audacity. I told my fb fiends to give me a number between 0 and 57. I got 42 (what else). This sound is minute 42 to 45 from my one hour recording. The rest is deleted. Gone.

This was originally a friend's cat meowing but it has been processed heavily. First, it was put through a granulizer and the pitch was dropped -2 octaves. The sample was then panned l-r using automation, and bitcrushed. Lastly, to get a slight detuned feel, i added a chorus effect. This sample sounds even better with some convolution or hall reverb but i left this effect out since it's usually a effect users want total control over. The end result is a strange, alien sounding noise.

This is a quick little bass heavy remix i tossed together using cc0 sources from right here on freesound. I have never tried mixing anything remotely musical before, so this is a first. Sound created from using the rings of saturn as a spectral source to a series of filters. When a 1 pixel high image of the rings is extracted it looks like a spectrogram (original: https://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/file:saturn%27s_rings_dark_side_mosaic. Jpg). The ring spectrogram was divided into three color planes, and the color intensity values were transformed into resonant filter cutoff frequencies. In essence one filter unit (per color plane) has 256 sounds playing simultaneously. The individual filters are placed along the x-axis so, that the stereo image consists of 256 steps from left to right. In this sound of the series the spectrum was compressed to a range of 20 - 1000 hz. A small variation in certain divider factor per color plane is introduced for a slight chorus like effect.

This was created with reaktor 6, nested inside vcvrack (via the "host" module) run through various effects in vcv rack. Ultimately this was rendered out at 192khz (vcv allows for very high super sampling). Many frequencies that are above the range of hearing exist in this file due to rendering it at such a high sample rate. I recommend that, in your daw of choice: pitch this down a couple octaves while running this through a frequency analyzer. Watch how many notes and tones emerge into the range of hearing. You might need a high shelf eq on this as well as a slight high pass filter. Several use cases for this sound: in the background of a sci-fi video game. On your next ambient dark drone top 40 hit single. Run through effects like granulators, pitch shifters and spectral distortions to make a crazy sound design sculpture.

An experimental sound i did. It kinda sound like some space jet or something, i don't know. But yeah, it's experimental. To make the sound, first, i recorded the wind coming from my electric fan, then i edited it in adobe auditions cs6, then audacity for the final touches.

Myself improvising with samples of magnets clashing together, and re-sampling using granular synth and a few fx.

An experimental sound i did while messing with audacity. Just like i did in that end sound, i just used my table to do the sound, but instead of pounding, i tapped it (man, my table is kinda useful for sfx. Xd). And after that, i added the vocoder, some reverb, and the echo effect then viola! this effect was born!.

Parts of an a cappella cut up and rearranged, duplicated, reveresed some parts, glued and layered everything.

Experimentation with the harmmod m4l plugin in ableton live. No effects or post-processing was applied to the sound except normalization.

Made this using a freeware synth in fl studio, i've used granular effects to simulate this "breathing thing" as it sounds very cold to me.
