Hey everyone,. I love freesound so i thought i'd contribute my first sample. I found that people love dropping coins on every surface imagineable except for grass. Recorded on a zoom h4n for use in this dota 2 short film - https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=wdv1mia1_1k.

This sound i record with zoom h6. I recorded a landing on the grass.

Mostly red winged blackbirds, in grassy field, hot day, distant traffic. Stereo spaced em172s.

A haymaking course was done for the 25th time at ryghsetra near the town of drammen in norway. On saturday everyone could stay for a few hours, listening to two female performers singing and playing fiddle and banjo, watching a group of people mowing a meadow at the same time and socializing. I used a zoom h6 with a sennheiser microphone and i edited the recordings by means of hindenburg journalist.

I recorded these in the back of our place. Couldn't see them at night back in the woods but they were going to town and it was just about a full moon. I used a yamaha pocketrak and edited with sony sound forge. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :o).

This is a compilation of recordings from behind my daughter's house in dallas. Close to the rr track where they probably travel. But she seems to have a group of them near her who live there for at least part of the year. The 2 barks are from her late dog leo who she lost this year so i could not bear to take them out. Also i processed this audio with audacity and they started as mono. . . So i put them in stereo tracks. . . . Hope they are ok for some peoplealso you will notice that some parts are louder than others and i did not feel like normalizing volume. Aaaaooooooooo.

I recorded this while searching for farm sounds. On the recording you can hear footsteps in the grass, then the opening of the latch in the gate to the field and then further steps. This short recording was made during a sound search in the scotish border area of scotland. I recorded on the zoom h5 handy recorder, i used superlux headphones.
