This is a mix of like nearly 30 recordings of my knuckles cracking.

The sound of a drinking glass or bottle being dropped or otherwise destroyed in a distant room. Can also be used for something like bullet impacts or vehicle collisions.

A montain bike breaking on concrete. Recorded with a pentax k5 and an audio technica pro 24-cm stereo microphone at 16bit/32khz. Slightly edited in audacity in order to reduce major peaks (by hand, no plugin) and to improve the headroom.

A lot of tearing and ripping to multiply and increase the numbers.

Plastic ice cube tray cracked.

Snappy kick sound. Good for breaking through mixes.

A handful of spaghetti cracked into half. I don't know how to use this but often an injury in film foley is just breaking a celery or something else. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. A setting on my toy keyboard called "pearl drop" shifted two octaves down (shifting this far down made the sound just start to break up in a glitchy sounding way).

To make this series of sounds, i blended a bunch of samples together, some recorded on my go-to usb mic, some synthesized in ableton. I thought they fit together nicely vs being isolated pieces. Decided to smash some older, almost broken already furniture we had lying around our shop for a production that we were doing. The table was weak, didn't give much in the way of sound, but here it is.

Simulating "bone breaks" by cracking celery into pieces. The intent is to use these sounds along with "hitting" sounds to create a more dynamic punching sound effect. Although this is cc-0, if you integrate it into a more dynamic effect, i'm curious to hear it. Recorded on a damp night from a beach house at wrightsville beach, north carolina. Audio has been treated for some wind. The whole recording was like an hour long but i couldn't upload that much. Tip: to extend the sound, you can cross-fade this sample pretty much anywhere with itself and the effect is virtually unnoticeable.
