This very happy bird-song was recorded in late winter/very early spring of 2012. It was a cold, partly sunny morning after a cold night, yet this red male cardinal was singing proud and loud. A short soft whistle suitable for "onhover" mouse events when constructing various menus. Created using audacity, by applying a couple of filters and changing a pitch of a short whistle - my own whistle.

I recorded my raw kick drum with a shure vocal mic and then gave it a bass boost using audacity. Not too bad considering the equipment used. It is a kick drum 22" with an evans emad 2 head, a pillow inside, and a medium quality pdp drumset.
