This loop was accidentally created when some input cables were connected wrong. It reminded me of something the crystal method could have created.

Just makes your ears hurt, doesn't it? could be great for something like a machine having a complete meltdown, or a robot going haywire. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. All done in wavepad. I also tried to make it loop, but it's up to you whether i succeeded or not.

I used the "the challenge. Wav" base (id: 561988) and made a simple melody with a synth, added effects and some beats. I used some fl studio effects: reverb, echo, distortion, equalization, amplify, low-fi effect, low-pass, drums and synthesizer. Amazing challenge as always, thanks badoink.

While recording narration on my blue yeti microphone, the cable came loose in just such a way that it started glitching and converted everything i said into weird techno music. In the radio drama big data, it was used to represent the end of the internet. You are free to use it in any way you like, but it would be super funny if you credit it to "broke yeti" as though that is a real band and help me confuse people.

Was mucking around in audacity and made a cricket chirp. I used the generate chirp option and distorted it. It would fit well in a night-time or summer scene.

Custom-made samples of gunfire using foley and sound engineering - smashing of bin polymer lids layered on top of each other with varying amounts of hard distortion and compression.

Warning very loud. Recorded around 1 pm in stockholm, sweden. After several days of unusually high temperatures (around 30 celsius) a thunderstorm rolled in without warning. After recording 10 minutes of standard thunderstorm sounds, i thought i'd give it a rest. But you know, just a few more minutes. This is a raw recording. No editing or has been done whatsoever. It is loud and it is distorted. Recorded on roland r-0524/44. 1.

Snare drum distorted, i added other snare drum for more drum sound. Good for snare rolls, snare rushes, and other snare techniques. Also you can layer with other snare, or eat it, your imagination puts the limit.

An evolving bass/pad i patched using subtractive synthesis. Convolution reverb added as well as some subtle distortion and post synth filtering. Please give me a mention if you use this :-).
