Start with chaos. In this sound/patch you have the possibility to enjoy chaos and feedbacki use my sloth lfos and jerkoff - another chaos moduleim possible sick i like this - thou its simple. Sloth modulate vco and filter cut of frequencyfeedback from vco to the filter via a vca controlled by a looping envpan fx also controlled by sloth - same env that controls the frequency. The "prassel" rustle sound is great in my earsjerkoff, exp vca, function and another sloth. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is - there are many cycles to consideronly short sounds - no, goodamplitude variation - yep goodpitch variation - mediumtimbre variation - some, via filter/two soundsmusical value - i think so!entertaining - yes?!.

These are two guitar solo outtakes from a guest guitar session i was asked to be on. They essentially wanted that early era slayer vibe where there is more cacophonous noise than structure. I think i recorded 15-20 for two sections in one song. They chose two other files and this was the one i liked best to keep as a memento. I am the creator and owner of the audio contained within the file. I know guitarists these days want to sound like an andy sneap plugin, but this may give someone a different idea. Within the context of the song they were for they fit well. I'm not apologizing for the playing or quality of the recording. Just something i did for a friend that took me 4x as long to set up than total time under the red light. It was fun.

The sloth has two outputs x and y. I connected x to control frequency on one oscillator and y to control amplitude on another oscillator. Frequency experiment on left channel. Amplitude experiment on the right. The file starts as the amplitude is 0. Next time the amplitude is 0 (almost) is at about 48 sec. Then 48 sec later, at 1:37 the amplitude is 0 again. The two cycles are not identical. The tones are harder to analyze. . . X and y outputs. I guess those corresponds to x and y in a coordinate system. Ff chaos test conditions:cv in from nlc jerkoff. Square wave in from lfo, 1hz. 3 vcos tuned to 130,8hz and one "strange sound". Cv in on vcos are attenuated, about 50%. Gate 1 and cv 1 to vco pan leftgate 2 and cv 2 to vco pan rightgate 3 to vco pan centertrigger to "strange sound" pan center. Sound 1 - cv min and rate minsound 2 - cv max and rate minsound 3 - cv min and rate maxsound 4 - cv max and rate maxsound 5 - cv at 50% and rate at 50%sound 6 - jerkoff to cv in on lfo. Vco 3 gets cv from jerkoff - chaos.

nonlinearcircuits jerkoff chaos circuit is based on sprott's chaotic jerk equation. This sound is long and boring. . . But i wanted to test the nlc jerkoff. This might be of interest to someone. . . I upload an mp3 file to save disc space. . . The single module has 3 outs. 2 of them are controlling vcaa and one is connected to an envelope follower that generates a trigger when the cv is high enough. The signals in to the vca are the same (1. 5v). A way to illustrate the work of the module. Maybe.
