Here are some single shots from a drum track i recorded. I actually used these for a great hiphop sounding drum track by putting them in my sampler and shortening up the decay. Recorded with a zoom ps-04, transfered to computer digitally.
A kick drum produced for moody trance project. Production process: sound generated from kick synth; signal splitted in two bands; high band signal filtered, distorted and panned (this gives nice roughness and makes kick sound pretty good with center panned bassline); low band signal equalized with some re-verb; both bands mixed back together.
The origin of this kick sample was recorded into m-audio delta66 from the famous ussr synthesizer, named is "polivox". Compress and equalizer with tc powercore.
This is a recording of me walking through my neighborhood in brooklyn, ny. You can hear birds, cars, music, speech and finally me arriving at the laundromat to do my laundry. Enjoy!.
Ducks schoof flee into the water. Many splash sounds! recorded with mixpre 6 and sennheiser me 66. If you want to support me, you are welcome to have a look here: https://richardatmo. Bandcamp. Com/. This recording was taken at camp eureka, which is at yarra junction in victoria. It wasn't recorded in the bush, but there are plenty of trees at the camp and the bush is nearby. The recording is mostly birdsong. It was taken in the middle of the day during autumn. It was recorded using the built in microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.
Feedback from messing around with a cloned circuit of the tr-808 bass drum. If decay is extended too far, the circuit gets stuck in a feedback loop and produces awesome deep-bass analogue sine waves.
